Conditional access system viaccess incorrect hardware configuration. Setting up the NTV plus antenna. Tuning the antenna "NTV-Plus Vostok" on different TVs

Everyone chooses the method of receiving channels in digital quality, that's what I proceeded from when choosing:

Terrestrial digital television did not suit me, because of the small number of channels.

Cable TV - everything is more complicated here, an operator who provides television via a coaxial cable without using coding (no set-top boxes are needed) does not serve my house, and the operators who provide television through a set-top box did not suit me either, because I pay a subscription fee for connecting one TV 300 rubles or more, in my opinion, is expensive. Based on this, I chose satellite TV. The disadvantage of this method is that to use it, you must have an initial amount of about 10 tons. for the purchase of equipment. But you can always save money, for example, I had an old NTV + receiver, for the action I exchanged it with a surcharge for a new NTV + receiver - I’ll clarify right away that it was a temporary action, I was just lucky to meet it during its holding. But promotions change and there is always an opportunity to buy a satellite kit cheaper. So, I didn’t have to choose between satellite operators, because on the cheap I got a set of NTV + with a contract and a card. All that was left was to set up a plate and enjoy digital channels, even channels in HD quality.

A bit of theory about satellite TV.

For those who are not at all aware of the installation of satellite equipment, I will explain that the dish must look strictly at the satellite broadcasting signal. It is worth telling a little more about the technology of satellite television.

The television signal is broadcast from a geostationary satellite "hanging" above the Earth. If you go a little deeper, then - the satellite rotates in the plane of the Earth's equator at an altitude of about 35,000 km above the Earth's surface. The orbital period in this orbit is one day. That is, a satellite moving in a geostationary orbit does not change its position relative to the Earth's surface (it constantly "hangs" over the same point of the equator).

Using a satellite dish, we focus the signal from the satellite to the point where the converter is located.

A converter is a receiving device that is attached to the focus of a signal reflected from a satellite dish and converts this signal into an electrical one, and then transmits it to a receiver - receiver.

A receiver is a device that converts the signal coming from the converter into a signal "understandable" for the TV. The receiver is connected to the TV using HDMI, SCART, "tulip", etc. depends on the model of the receiver and the connectors on the TV.

The general scheme is presented below.

Installation of the NTV + plate

So, we pass from theory to practice. Below I will describe how I installed and configured NTV + (for those who configure Tricolor, the connection diagram will be similar).

I climbed onto the roof of my house and saw the following picture - two satellite dishes were hanging, there was a place just under mine.

If you pay attention, then one plate is used for the Tricolor (judging by the inscription on the plate, although this may not be the case), this is good, since Tricolor and NTV + broadcast from one satellite, and mean they are directed to one point in the sky, adjust the direction accordingly the antenna will be easier because the sample will be nearby. When installing a satellite dish, you can also look around, since most people use either Tricolor or NTV +, respectively, you will understand in which direction you need to turn the antenna. If there are no dishes nearby, turn the dish to the south (since the satellite "hangs" at the equator), it should be taken into account that there should be no trees or buildings in the path between the satellite and the direction of the dish, since they will prevent the signal from reaching the dish.

The first step is to fasten the antenna bracket using the anchor bolts (usually they come with the antenna). To do this, attach the bracket to the wall, mark the places where you need to drill the holes, and use a drill to make holes with a depth and radius of the anchor bolt. Then insert the bolts there.

Then attach the bracket to the wall and screw.

As a result of all actions, check that the bracket is firmly fixed and does not wobble.

Then assemble the plate and attach it to the bracket.

Next, you need to lay a coaxial cable from the receiver (where the TV will be) to the satellite dish converter. If the cable is more than 10 meters, you can buy a quality 75 ohm coaxial cable of the required length.

After that, using an HDMI cable, SCART or "tulip" connect the receiver to the TV. Then turn on the receiver, on the TV select AV mode (appropriate interface). You will see the receiver menu, select the satellite in the settings (remember, for NTV + and Tricolor it will be the same satellite), for the European zone it will be EUTELSAT W4 / W7 or EUTELSAT 36A / 36B (they have been renamed).

The next step is to tune the dish strictly to the satellite. In order not to use additional devices that help to set up channels that cost a lot of money (and there is nothing if you want to set up one satellite dish for yourself), you will need an assistant who will monitor the signal level, and in the meantime you will turn plate. You can use a cell phone for communication.

You should turn the dish by millimeter in order to catch a good signal. The antenna rotates not only horizontally, but also vertically, do not forget about this.

As a result, I tuned the NTV + dish (I decided prematurely).

I managed to achieve a signal of more than 70 percent, it was cloudy, and perhaps the result was no better. Going down after tuning the antenna, I quickly tuned in the channels using autosearch and was quite pleased. BUT, when I turned on the HD channel, an information sign "No signal" appeared in front of me.

How so ?! all channels work fine, and all HDs say "No signal".

A call to technical support did not bring any results. I decided to spin the dish to achieve at least some signal level (as you can see in the picture below, the signal level of HD channels is 0%). To do this, in the menu, I selected TP List - 11823/27500 / V (it is responsible for a part of HD channels).

I climbed onto the roof and again began to slowly turn the antenna, my assistant remained near the TV and spoke the signal level. After literally 10-15 minutes, I was able to tune the HD channels, they showed a signal level of about 73%. Going down, I could already contemplate the channels in HD quality, the other channels also showed excellently.

The result of this whole story, do not believe people who say that only specialists with special equipment can install and configure satellite television. Practical everyone can do it !!!

To independently configure the reception of NTV plus satellite channels, you first need to reset all receiver settings. This is done by selecting "Default Settings" in the tuner menu. Further, in the "Channel" submenu, click on the "Antenna" tab and go to the satellite settings.

Algorithm for self-tuning of NTV Plus channels

  1. When the receiver asks for the PIN-code, enter four zeros (if the code has not been changed before).
  2. In the window that appears, you will need to uncheck all the satellites available by default. If this operation is blocked by the tuner, the CAM module must be removed from the slot.
  3. NTV plus channels are broadcast by the EutelsatW4 36E satellite, which is marked with a tick in the receiver's menu.
  4. Additional settings include setting the 12130 R transponder and LNB levels (lower - 0, upper - 10750).

After saving the entered parameters in the "Manual tuning" menu, select the previously indicated transponder and start the network search. The operation takes some time, after which all available NTV plus channels are added to the list. This completes the setup.

If the satellite EutelsatW4 36E is not displayed in the standard list, select the “User sat 1” item and create a new satellite network. In the satellite settings, enable the "LNB Power" option and set the above parameters of the boundaries. You do not need to specify the transponder yet. Having saved the data, go to the "Manual tuning" menu, find the created satellite there and scan it. Then transponders and their parameters are created, which can be obtained from service providers.

After saving the changes, network "NTV Plus"... It must be scanned by clicking the "Search" button. After a while, the channels linked to the selected transponder will be added to the receiver's memory. Similar actions are performed for all other transponders. At the end of the setup, the receiver will retain all the TV and radio channels of NTV plus.

An example of tuning an LG TV to the channels of the NTV-PLUS TV company
Let's try to figure out how to properly tune an LG TV to NTV-PLUS channels to use the NTV-PLUS CI + CAM module.
The principle of setting up all TVs from this manufacturer is approximately the same. Depending on the software version and model, the names of the menu items may differ, but the essence is the same everywhere.
First, we transfer the TV to the reception mode from the satellite dish. Call the channel list on the screen with the LIST button

Select the "Satellite" mode, go to and click on OK,

To configure, press the SETTING (MENU) button and go to the CHANNELS section

Next, go to the menu item "Satellite settings"

We check that all the settings are the same as in the photo above.
On the left you see two scales - you can use them to check the quality of the signal, and if your antenna is not configured, tune the antenna to the NTV-PLUS signal from the satellite
Further, two configuration options are possible:
- for those TV models that have auto tuning for NTV-plus
- for those models where there is no auto tuning for NTV-plus

Option number 1

From the channel settings, return to the previous menu (with the BACK button) and go to the AUTO SEARCH section. We select the "Satellite" mode and move on.

We select the operator NTV-PLUS. If you do not have NTV-Plus in the list or your TV does not offer to choose an operator at all, then it is better to use Option # 2 to tune channels. Below in the "Satellite Settings" window, just click OK

Here the search mode d. B. marked "Quick search" and click "OK"

Click on "Run" OK

We are waiting for the search results, click "Close", exit the menu completely with the EXIT button

To display the list of found channels, press the LIST button

With this search option, your TV automatically divides all channels into topics, the name of the current topic is indicated at the top of the list and can be changed by pressing the blue button on the remote control:

Option number 2
We go to the section "Manual search". We check that all the settings are as in the photo below, and there was a checkmark on the "Search for network" item. Then go to "Add" and click OK

We are waiting for the search results

Click OK on "Close", exit the menu.

To display the channel list on the screen, press the LIST button. All channels will be tuned in one list.

class \u003d "eliadunit"\u003e

First, we reset the TV to factory settings. Menu\u003e support\u003e self-diagnostics\u003e reset\u003e ok. After rebooting, go to menu\u003e channel\u003e antenna\u003e select the value "satellite".

We remove the jackdaws from all the satellites that are installed by default (if this fails, you need to pull the CAM module out of the slot and reset the TV again), scroll through and select the EutelsatW4 36E satellite, select the transponder in the LNB settings 12130 R , lower gene. LNB - 0, top - 10750.

Then go to "manual settings", look for a transponder 12130 R , turn on "network search" and click "search".

We are waiting for the completion of the search for NTV-Plus channels and save the found channels.

Then you can sort the channels at your discretion (it is better and more convenient to do this using the Samsung Channel List Editor)

If the satellite There is no EutelsatW4 36E in the settings, we do this:

We choose " User sat 1".

Create your own satellite (put a bird in front of it) and save.

We go into the LNB settings, set everything as in the screenshot.

We do not put anything in the "transponder" section, we will add them manually.

The section "transponders" will be empty, choose "create".

We need transponder frequencies, flow rate and polarization type for each channel packet. I will list:

DVB-S2 / 8PSK

Attention!!!

  • these frequencies have SR 27500 FEC 3/4
  • Set the correct polarization type ( L) or ( R)

Now we create all these transponders (continue).

We drive in the frequency (with numbers directly from the remote control), the transmission rate (also from the remote control) and select the type of polarization (L or R). We press "save".

The network name "NTV-PLUS" appears, press "search" and "OK".

The channel package for this transponder has been scanned and saved in the TV's memory, then everything is repeated for each subsequent transponder. In the same place, in the "manual setting" menu, click "scan" in the "transponder" section, create the next one with our data, and so on. All previous scored and scanned transponders with settings and channels are saved.

As a result, we get all (together with the radio) NTV-PLUS channels.

When installing NTV plus equipment on your own, first of all, it is necessary to carry out a high-quality installation and installation of technical equipment.

1. It should be borne in mind that the satellite television operator NTV plus has several different dish manufacturers, and the exact angle of the direction of the television dish itself will depend on them (from 17 to 38 degrees).

Also, the dish must be directed to the south, since the NTV satellites themselves are high above the equator. It is recommended to use a compass for accuracy.

2. For the image quality to be excellent, it is necessary to install the antenna in such a way that various high-rise buildings, trees, structures, etc. do not interfere with the TV signal.

3. The installation of the bracket must be approached with the utmost responsibility. The quality of the signal will also depend on the strength of the installation.

Otherwise, over time, the plate may turn or settle, the direction angle will change, which will certainly affect the level of the television signal.

4. The cable must be strong, weather-resistant.

Important! Be sure to consult with the NTV plus operator before installing the technical components yourself.

After installing the equipment, you need to adjust the antenna itself (satellite dish):

  • the conversion cable must first be connected to the receiver. The device receiving the signal is connected to the television device;

Note! For proper operation of the equipment, in order to avoid its breakdown or poor performance, carefully read the installation and operation instructions!

  • the small mirror installed on the dish must be carefully turned (right / left / up / down), thereby adjusting its exact direction towards the satellite.
  • In this case, it is necessary to observe the changes on the TV screen. Manipulations must be done before the image appears;

  • when it was possible to fix the presence of an image, on the receiving equipment it is necessary to activate the function "Signal reception level" The higher the value on the signal detection scale, the better the image will be.

Equipment registration

To make further settings, you should register on the official resource of the operator NTV plus.

This must be done in order to register the access card and the CL module.

CL module Is a device that, using a special hole in the TV and a decoding device (access card), allows the subscriber to access the closed programs of the television operator.

After completing the registration and activating it via e-mail in the user's personal account, such a service as "Registration of the contract" will become active.

After registration, the access card will be activated automatically within 24 hours.

Setting up the receiver

If you use your own equipment and an NTV plus dish, then when using the standard receiver settings recommended for users of NTV satellite television, the receiver will be tuned to the necessary parameters automatically.

To do this, it is enough to turn it off with the control panel button and then turn it on again.

If the automatic setup did not occur, try to disconnect the terminal from the power source, and when further connecting to the network, repeat the manipulations.

If, after the above recommendations, automatic tuning does not occur, you should reset all settings to the factory settings, after which the receiver will start anew to automatically search for the channel settings of the NTV plus television operator.

Do not forget to check the level of the signal reception scale, perhaps the problem lies in the low frequency.

Setting up NTV plus channels

Channel tuning in this case can be done both in automatic mode and through manual settings.

To carry out automatic channel installation, select "Automatic channel installation" in the menu.

If you have installed the equipment correctly, all channels will be tuned fully automatically without your participation within a few minutes.

Finding channels manually is more time consuming process:

1. You need to reset the settings to the factory defaults, and then in the Menu item, select Settings and then Default Setting.

After selecting this item, select Channels, Antenna, and then Satellite settings.

2. The receiving equipment will ask for a password, which is four zeros (“0000”) at the factory setting.

If you managed to change this numerical value, then enter your version.

3. In the window that appears, you will see a list of allowed satellites.

It is necessary to remove the “ticks” opposite each of them, leaving only Eutelsat w4 36e. If the function is unavailable for some reason, it is necessary to remove the access card from the device.

4. After that, you need to configure the receiving device (transponder) itself according to the following parameters: 12130 "R", the lower LNB level should correspond to "0", and the upper "10750".

5. So, after changing all of the above settings in the manual setting mode, you must select the receiving equipment recommended by the device and set the goal

Search on the net. It may take a lot of time to set up channels in this mode, but all channels included in the package will certainly be set up properly.

Setting up your Samsung and LG TV

In TV models of these companies, a CAM module is often automatically present.

CAM module, or a conditional access module, is a decoding device built into the TV that allows you to receive private television signals.

Samsung TV setup instructions:

1. Using the remote control, you need to go to the Settings Menu of the TV itself, and select "Broadcast" there.

3. Then go to the LNB Settings section (LNB-converter receives satellite signals and converts them into low-frequency signals), and select any receiving device recommended by the device. You need to turn off the DiSEqC mode, and the tone is 22 KHZ. The lower LNB level should correspond to "9750", and the upper one - "10750".

6. From the list of satellite dishes, select Eutelsat w4 36e again, and from the list of transponders, select the one that appears under the number 11900 (v / r) 27500, and then agree to save the settings.

7. Select "Search network".

9. In the menu item "Sort", you can assign different target categories to the channels, for example, News channels, Children, Entertainment, etc.
The Samsung TV setting is then verified.

LG TV setup instructions:

1. Using the remote control, you need to go to the TV settings and select the "Broadcast" item there.

2. The list of satellite antennas will be released again, among which it is necessary to choose exactly Eutelsat w4 36e. After that, it is better to save the settings.

3. Then go to the LNB Settings section and select any receiving device recommended by the device. You need to turn off the DiSEqC mode, and the tone is 22 KHZ. The lower LNB level should correspond to "9750", and the upper one - "10750".

4. Press the "Return" button on the remote control twice.

6. From the list of satellite dishes, again select Eutelsat w4 36e, and from the list of transponders, select the one that appears under the number 12322 (r) 27500, and then agree to save the settings.

7. Select "Search network".

8. In the Menu, again find the Broadcast section, and in it Change channels. If it is necessary to assign a certain number to a channel, we do it using the "Change number" function

9. In the menu item "Sorting", we can also divide the channels by subject.
