A new version has been released - WOT Tank Viewer 1.0.17. This is a program that allows you to view tank models without having to start the game itself. The program works autonomously and only requires the correct path to the game.

What WOT Tank Viewer does and how to use it

After installing the program from above, open the tab Settings\u003e Preferences (or press F2) / A window will pop up in which you need to specify the path to the game:

If everything is done correctly, a list of all tanks will appear on the right. Moreover, there is a filter above the list, with which you can sort by country, type of tank and its level. To load a tank model, select it from the list and press the button Load.

In field Image Editor it is necessary to enter the path to the graphic editor that is used for.

The principle of the program is as follows - from the game client installed on your computer, information about the appearance, the model of the tank is extracted and loaded for viewing without starting World of Tanks. The interface is shown in the screenshot below.

The mods folder can be located anywhere - not necessarily in the res_mods folder - but the skins must be unpacked as if you installed them on the World of Tanks client. That is, if you have an archive with modified tank textures and to install it you need to unpack it into "res_mods \\ game_version", then to view it in the WoT Tank Viewer, you need to unpack the same archive to any folder on your computer and specify it in the settings programs (in the upper menu "Options" - "Settings").
