How to use "Snap Assist" (attached to vikon)

To attach a window, you need to click on the title row with the left mouse button and hold down the button while dragging the window. You will need to apply the program to the right or left side of the monitor. When you reach the fixation zone, a frame will appear indicating that the program will be attached if you release the key. As soon as the window is in the correct position, the mouse is released and should be attached to the indicated area.

You can press them on the skin, and the selection of additions will automatically go to another part of the screen. This approach is very rational and sensible, but is not implemented with the latest versions of the operating system (the skin from the windows had to be attached “manually”, repeating manipulations with the choice of program we tighten it to the required part of the screen). For the opportunity to “select” programs, you can save a few precious seconds per hour.

You can attach windows using hot keys. For this purpose, use the combination (key with logo) and arrow (right or left, depending on which part of the screen you need to send the program to). However, you won’t be able to get there quickly with this attached Snap Assist functionality - it’s only available when you fix the windows and drag them.

Another advantage is that “universal” programs can be attached just like “classic” ones. In Windows 10, the stinks are in the “system” windows, which obey the dirty rules.

The window can be attached either right-handed or left-handed - the function of sub-screening vertically is available. In this type, one of the programs is located on the top half of the monitor, and the other is attached to the bottom. You can attach them using hot keys, for which you press the key and arrow - up or down. Pressing the keys and arrows again will select the next item. When you select the up arrow, the entire screen will be active; when you click on the down arrow, the options will light up on the task panel.

Tightening won't achieve the same result; vertical attachments can only be selected using hotkeys. When you try to drag the window to the top of the monitor, the program will fill the entire screen. If the window is pulled to the bottom edge, there will be no necessary changes.

Please remember that this “functionality” lies not only in the implementation of the function in Windows, but also in the programs themselves. Thus, the actions of “universal” programs do not need to be adapted to such a distortion. Attached vertically or in quarters, such programs may not work correctly.

Attaching the windows to the quarters of the screen

Nowadays, Snap's feature changes have become even easier to use with larger monitors. Now you can expand up to 4 add-ons on one screen, placing them behind a 2x2 scheme, facing the skin of the monitor. Similar solutions have already been proposed by various managers for the “mosaic” placement of add-ons, and Microsoft has developed this functionality as a standard and integrated into the operating system “out of the box”.

To attach programs to the side of the screen, you just need to drag it to the side (and not to the side, as when attached horizontally). To fix the new skin at the end of the tightening, you have to re-tighten it, here the “helper” does not work.
