Huawei Y9 (2018) - Specifications. Huawei Y9 review: it has outgrown the budget Huawei Yu phone

Huawei Y9 2018 is a mid-range smartphone with four cameras. The device is equipped with a large screen with a fashionable aspect ratio of 18: 9. The gadget was announced in March 2018.

Appearance and ergonomics

Huawei U9 2018 has a modern and practical design. The metal case of this unit has received a matte texture. Therefore, fingerprints will not spoil the look. At the same time, the device almost does not slip in the hands. There are rounded corners and there is also a 2.5D glass on the front. There are no physical buttons under the screen, only the corporate logo remains. All navigation keys are now virtual. It should be noted that the display with minimal bezels occupies almost the entire front part.

There is a round fingerprint scanner on the back. It also houses the main dual camera with a flash in the upper left corner. Plastic strips for antennas were originally made, which became U-shaped. They are ideally disguised as a general design style.

The assembly is very high quality. The device feels great in the hand. At the same time, there are no various squeaks and clicks during use. Inside is a powerful 4000 mAh rechargeable battery, which can significantly increase autonomy. Available in gold, blue and black. Dimensions: height - 157.2 mm, thickness - 7.89 mm, width - 75.3 mm, weight - 170 g.

Display

The Y9 2018 has a 5.93-inch screen with an advanced 18: 9 aspect ratio. This IPS display occupies the majority of the front panel. Its resolution is 2160 x 1080 pixels. The image is distinguished by increased detail, as well as decent color reproduction. The stock of brightness is not so much, but almost always enough for comfortable use. The picture looks very realistic, and thanks to the new aspect ratio, much more useful information is placed on the screen.

Iron and performance

The U9 2018 smartphone has got an eight-core Kirin 659 processor. Its four economical Cortex-A53 cores operate at a frequency of 1700 MHz. Four more Cortex-A53 cores are more efficient, as they have a clock frequency of 2360 MHz. There is a graphics accelerator Mali-T830 MP2. The device is sold in several versions: with 3 GB of RAM and 32 GB of internal memory, as well as with 4 GB of RAM and 64 GB or 128 GB of file storage. There is support for microSD cards up to 256 GB.

The operating system Android 8.0 is installed here, as well as the EMUI 8.0 shell. In the AnTuTu test, the gadget scores about 65,000 points, which seems to be a good result for a mid-range smartphone. There are no problems with performance in everyday tasks, but certain difficulties arise with games that are demanding on hardware.

Communication and sound

Huawei Y9 2018 is equipped with a slot for two Nano-SIM. The sound of the speakers can be called good, but without any miracles. There are no special complaints about the maximum volume level. The low frequencies are a little lacking. In headphones, everything is fine with sound, a lot can be adjusted through the equalizer.

Camera

On the back of the Huawei U9 2018, there is a dual camera with 13-megapixel and 2-megapixel sensors. The aperture of 2.2 is complemented by phase detection autofocus and a powerful LED flash. Such a camera is able to create photos with a blurred background. In the daytime, the quality of the picture is very high, and the detail is deteriorated under artificial lighting. There are flexible settings and several shooting modes.

It is noteworthy that the front also houses a dual camera with 2 megapixels and 13 megapixels (or 16 megapixels, depending on the version). At the same time, the aperture ratio of 2.0 allows you to take high-quality self-portraits even in low light conditions. With such advanced cameras, you can safely experiment with depth of field, taking photos of almost professional level.

conclusions

The Y9 2018 received significant improvements over its predecessor. Particularly impressive is the presence of two dual cameras at once, and of a fairly high quality. The large display of the new format with high resolution is also pleasantly surprising. Obviously, the manufacturer tried to equip this gadget with the most modern hardware within the middle segment. Therefore, the buyer receives a very balanced and beautiful device, which costs about 200 euros at the start of sales.

Pros:

  • Frameless screen with an aspect ratio of 18: 9.
  • Quality dual cameras on both sides.
  • Fast fingerprint scanner.
  • Fresh software.
  • Very powerful battery.

Minuses:

  • Not enough power for demanding games.
  • The sound quality of the external speaker is rather mediocre.

New Huawei Y9 (2018): all the characteristics of a smartphone that painfully resembles either Mate 10 Lite or Honor 7X. Can you spot five differences?

On March 12, Huawei unveiled another phone that fits perfectly into the concept of marketers to clone and rebrand previous models. We take a smartphone released a few months ago, change a couple of details, for example, the resolution of one of the sensors of the main or front camera, and launch a new product on the market that will attract the attention of the audience.

In the Huawei Y9 (2018) smartphone, the characteristics are almost one to one ripped off from the Huawei Mate 10 Lite. They decided not to change the resolution of the cameras, leaving the same number of cameras. The new item for the middle market segment has the same number of lenses as its predecessor - four. The diagonal of the display has changed a little - by some 0.3 inches, the resolution is classic - FullHD +, the aspect ratio is multimedia. In short, almost everything is the same as in the Mate 10 Lite.

It should be said that for Huawei Y9 (2018), comparison begs not only with the Mate 10 Lite, but with another new product presented just three months ago. It's about. There is also a dual camera on the back, a large multimedia screen, Kirin 659 and other family traits inherent in this "line" of cloned phones. But today we will not compare “different” (conditionally different) models of the popular Chinese brand. We will devote a separate publication with tables and diagrams to this.

Today we are talking only about the characteristics of Huawei Y9 (2018). Very short and to the point. Go.

Huawei Y9: screen specifications

Huawei Y9 (2018) is made in a modern form factor with 18: 9 proportions. The screen is large - the absolute area is 90.7 sq. cm, relative (compared to the front panel area) about 77%. The screen resolution, as expected, is FullHD +, that is, 1080 x 2160 pixels. With the diagonal 5.93 inch, this resolution gives a pixel density of 407 ppi. The matrix, of course, is IPS LCD. The screen is covered with 2.5D glass, the degree of resistance to scratches has not yet been reported.

Huawei Y9: hardware specifications

The first publications about the Huawei Y9 (2018) are full of headlines that this phone is "the real killer of the Xiaomi RN 5 Pro". It is difficult to understand what the illiterate copywriters or authors are guided by, apparently, by the similarity of the form factor and battery capacity.

The battery of the Huawei Y9 (2018) is really ok - 4000 mAh... Fast charging is supported, but there is no information yet on the specifications of the charger that came with the phone and the actual rate at which the battery replenishes.

The main disadvantage of the Kirin 659 chipset is the graphics adapter Mali-T830 MP2... This adapter is noticeably inferior to any Adreno 5xx. Considering that Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 Pro has a new Snapdragon 636 processor with new Adreno 509 graphics, the Huawei Y9 (2018) smartphone will be behind the direct competitor in all benchmarks, and it will lose a lot.

And to finish talking about the hardware, we add that so far only one memory configuration of Huawei Y9 (2018) is known - with 3 gigabytes of RAM and 32 gigabytes of built-in. Perhaps a 4/64 GB version will appear later. There is an expansion slot for a microSD card, but it is hybrid.

Huawei Y9: camera specifications

In Huawei Y9 (2018), the camera characteristics are exactly the same as e. There is a double module on the back cover. The main lens of this module has a resolution of 16 megapixels, aperture of 2.2, an equivalent focal length of 27mm. Automatic focusing is implemented using phase technology (). The second rear camera sensor has a resolution of 2 megapixels. It is needed exclusively for the depth of the frame and post-processing of images, for example, to simulate the effect of a variable aperture.

The front camera is also dual. The auxiliary module is represented by the same 2 megapixel sensor, and the main one has a resolution of 13 megapixels, an f / 2.0 aperture and a focal length of 26mm. The Huawei Y9 smartphone can only shoot video at 1080p and 30 frames per second - these are the maximum capabilities of the Kirin 659 chipset.

Interfaces, software, design

Huawei Y9 is made in a metal (aluminum) case. The fingerprint scanner was placed on the back on the central axis, the cameras were screwed on in the upper left corner. There is a 3.5 mm audio jack. Charging is connected via microUSB... 5 GHz Wi-Fi is not supported.

Out of the box, the user gets Android 8 complete with proprietary firmware EMUI 8. The operating system, along with the battery capacity, is the main difference between Huawei Y9 and Mate 10 Lite. The phone will be presented in three colors: blue, black and gold.

There is no official information about the price of Huawei Y9 2018 yet, however, presumably, it will cost around 250 euros. If we consider that this is a smartphone of the most budgetary line of the brand, albeit the most sophisticated in its subclass, the price can be called high.

A few days ago, Huawei launched its new smartphone in the budget market. It is called Huawei Y9 2018. Its main feature is the design, because the smartphone is very similar to flagship devices such as Huawei Mate 10 and Honor 9 Lite. In addition, it features an 18: 9 display, four cameras (dual front and dual rear), good performance, and a large battery. Huawei Y9 2018 has every chance of becoming a bestseller in the budget segment, especially in Europe and the United States, where the Huawei brand is very popular.

As you know, Xiaomi is the king of the budget market. The Chinese company has already released some very interesting phones in early 2018. In my opinion, Redmi Note 5 Pro is the best competitor to Huawei Y9 2018. So, I decided to compare these phones and find out which one is better to buy in 2018.

Where could I buy?

Design

I want to start with the design because this is one of the main differences between these phones. As I said, Huawei Y9 2018 looks very similar to the Mate 10 and Honor 9 Lite. Huawei knows how to make good and stylish smartphones.

If the front panel of the Redmi Note 5 Pro and Huawei Y9 2018 is almost identical except for the Huawei logo, then the rear panel has some differences. First of all, the Redmi Note 5 Pro comes with a vertical dual camera, just like the iPhone X. To be honest, I don't really like it, and Huawei's horizontal dual rear camera design looks better to me. Also, both smartphones have a fingerprint scanner on the back.

Budget smartphones Huawei and Xiaomi have microUSB ports and 3.5 mm audio jacks.

Also, I have to point out that the Huawei Y9 2018 is a more compact smartphone because it has a slightly smaller display. So, I will give the first victory point to the Huawei device because I like it better.

Display

The display is another interesting feature. The Huawei Y9 2018 and Redmi Note 5 Pro come with very similar screens. Both have an aspect ratio of 18: 9 and a Full HD + resolution, 2160 by 1080 pixels.

However, the Huawei smartphone has a diagonal of 5.93 inches, while the Xiaomi device has a 5.99-inch display. I'm sure both phones have high quality displays and the difference in diagonal isn't very noticeable. In this case, there are no winners, and both phones receive one point from me.

Performance

Hardware is very important for budget smartphones as it provides good performance when playing games, surfing the Internet, watching movies, and more.

Huawei Y9 2018 is equipped with a processor from Huawei called Kirin 659. In addition, it has 3 GB of RAM and 32 GB of internal storage. The storage can be expanded using a microSD card. The AnTuTu test shows around 75,000 points, which is pretty good for a budget phone.

As for the Redmi Note 5 Pro, it is powered by a Snapdragon 636 processor, 4GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage. You can also find a version with 6 GB of RAM. It is also possible to expand the internal memory using a microSD card. Snapdragon processors are very good and they offer great performance and energy efficiency. Redmi Note 5 Pro scores around 110,000 points in AnTuTu.

By the way, Huawei Y9 2018 runs Android 8.0 Oreo out of the box with EMUI 8.0 user interface. Redmi Note 5 Pro runs Android 7.0 Nougat with MIUI 9 custom interface. Both interfaces are highly customized and both offer different functions and features. I cannot choose for you which interface is better, each user chooses to his liking.

As you can see, the Xiaomi smartphone has a more powerful processor, more RAM and more internal storage. If you are looking for a gaming phone, then the Redmi Note 5 Pro should be a better option.

Camera

The next thing I want to talk about is the camera. Xiaomi and Huawei offer really good cameras on their smartphones, not only flagships but also budget phones.

Huawei Y9 2018 comes with four cameras: dual front and dual rear. Let's start with the main camera. On the back, you can find a 13-megapixel primary sensor and a 2-megapixel secondary sensor. They have f / 2.2 and f / 2.6 apertures, respectively. As for the front camera, there is a 16-megapixel main sensor and a 2-megapixel secondary sensor. To be honest, I don't believe the 2MP sensor on the back and front will take much better photos. The manufacturer says they are essential for bokeh shots.

As for the Redmi Note 5 Pro, it has a 12MP main sensor and a 5MP secondary sensor on the back. They have f / 2.2 and f / 2.0 apertures, respectively. In addition, the smartphone has a 20MP front-facing camera. This sounds very interesting!

It is very difficult to pick a winner because both phones are betting on front-facing cameras. However, I will give my preference to the Redmi Note 5 Pro because I have already tested many budget Xiaomi phones and they take really good photos.

Battery

As far as the battery is concerned, both phones seem to be identical. They have 4000mAh batteries with fast charging function. I think the Redmi Note 5 Pro and Huawei Y9 2018 have the same battery life, up to 2 days on a single charge, while it takes about 2 hours to fully charge the battery.

Price

And the last category for our comparison is price. Right now, you can buy the Redmi Note 5 Pro with 4GB of RAM and 64GB of storage for around $ 220. At the moment, the official price of Huawei Y9 2018 is unknown, as the smartphone was announced only yesterday. However, I think it will cost less than $ 250.

Both smartphones are in the same price range, and the actual price may vary depending on coupons, sales and other discounts.

Output

As you can see, Huawei Y9 2018 and Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 Pro are very similar. They have nearly the same displays, batteries, and cameras. However, the Redmi Note 5 Pro is slightly more powerful than the Huawei device. Also, I want to highlight the premium design of the Huawei Y9 2018. It looks stylish and expensive, just like the flagship device Huawei Mate 10.

The Chinese company Huawei has long been entrenched in the mobile phone market. It constantly ranks among the top five most popular brands for the production of smartphones and tablets in the world, second only to such giants as Samsung, Apple and others.

Huawei devices attract the attention of the consumer not only with an interesting design and good characteristics, but also with their prices. Today, she has in stock gadgets for any price segment, including budget models, which are gaining more and more popularity and becoming relevant.

Just about one of these models and I would like to tell you today - this is the smartphone Huawei Y5 2017. Reviews, current prices and much more will be in today's review dedicated to this phone. Well, let's get started.

Overview

Before starting a review of the Huawei Y5 2017 smartphone, I would like to briefly tell you what exactly will be considered. First of all, we will get acquainted with the equipment of the device, its appearance, design and ergonomics. The display, specifications, operating system, and performance will then be discussed in more detail. The article will conclude with an introduction to multimedia features, camera, battery life and reviews of the Huawei Y5 2017 smartphone.

Equipment

So, the phone comes in a small rectangular box of bright orange color. On the front there is only the name of the manufacturer and model, but the back has already listed the main characteristics of the Huawei Y5 2017 smartphone: GB of internal memory, 2 GB of RAM, 5-inch screen, 3000 mAh battery, 4G support, and more. We will get acquainted with the specifications of the device in more detail in a separate paragraph of the article.

Inside the box itself, you can find the following: Huawei Y5 2017 smartphone, manual, warranty card, charger box, micro-USB cable, headphones and a protective film on the phone screen. In general, the package bundle is quite good for a budget device.

Of course, I would like to get some kind of silicone case in addition, but without it everything is just fine.

Appearance

The appearance of the Huawei Y5 2017 smartphone is gorgeous, even despite the plastic case. By the way, plastic is used here of very high quality and pleasant to the touch. Only the frame is made of metal, which emphasizes the stylish appearance. In the 2016 model, there were no metal elements at all.

On the back of the smartphone is the Huawei logo, a camera lens with a metal edge and slightly protrudes from the body. Next to the camera is a dual LED flash and a microphone hole that records sound when shooting a video.

The corners and edges of the device are rounded, it is comfortable and pleasant to hold in the hand. I would also like to note the corrugated structure of the back cover of the phone, which looks just fine.

Traditionally, the right side houses the volume keys and the on / off button for the device.

On the left side, the company's "smart" button "Easy key" is located alone. It can be controlled through the settings menu. For example, you can set that after clicking on a button, a screenshot or something else will be taken.

Looking at the front panel of the device, it becomes a little sad. The large side frames around the five-inch display are very upsetting. Also, there are no touch control buttons, they are displayed on the screen, taking up some useful part.

On top of the screen, you can see the earpiece opening, light and proximity sensors, a 5MP front camera and an LED flash so that selfies can be taken anywhere and at any time of the day.

At the top of the phone, there is only a 3.5 mm headphone jack. On the bottom, there are a pair of speakers on the sides and a micro-USB connector in the middle.

As for the build quality, usually Huawei smartphones have no problems with this. Even though the Y5 is a budget model, it is built with high quality. All parts are closely fitted to each other, there are no creaks, punching or crunching.

Screen

The Huawei Y5 2017 smartphone has a 5-inch display. The matrix is \u200b\u200bmade using IPS technology, the resolution is 1280x720, the pixel density is 294 ppi, which is generally standard.

There are small comments on the quality of color rendering. The gamma is clearly slightly biased towards cold shades. The situation can be corrected using the "Color Temperature" item in the settings menu. If we talk about clarity, then it is at its best here. Text, small details in the photo, pictures - everything can be seen very well.

The viewing angles are not bad, however, there is a disease of many IPS matrices - when deflected in one direction, the screen turns yellow, in the other - it turns purple. The display can say so - it clearly lacks a good factory calibration.

In multitouch mode, the display simultaneously recognizes up to 5 touches.

Specifications

Specifications smartphone Huawei Y5 2017 has the following:

  • Processor - 1400 MHz.
  • Graphic video accelerator - Mali-T720 MP2.
  • The amount of RAM is 2 GB.
  • The volume of internal memory is 16 GB + support for memory cards up to 128 GB.
  • Camera - 8 megapixels, autofocus, dual LED flash.
  • Front camera - 5 megapixels, LED flash.
  • Screen - 5 inches, IPS, 1280x720, 294 ppi.
  • The number of SIM cards is 2.
  • - nano + micro.
  • Battery - 3000 mAh.
  • Additionally - light sensor, proximity sensor, compass, voice dialing.

In general, quite good for a budget model. Particularly pleased with the possibility of expanding the internal memory using a separate slot for microSD.

Communication

If we talk about the quality of communication, the phone keeps the network quite confidently. The volume of the external speaker is good, the interlocutor is heard well, the voice is not distorted. With regard to support for wireless technologies, the Huawei Y5 2017 has 4G and 3G. GSM standards are fully supported: 900/1800/1900. Bluetooth in the device costs version 4.0.

operating system

In the box, the smartphone comes with Android 6.0 (Marshmallow) operating system. The shell uses the proprietary Emotion UI 4.1. The likelihood that this device will receive the version of android 7.0 is very small, it is still a budget option.

As for the interface itself, the outer shell is quite pleasant, it is convenient to use it. Optimization also does not fail. Paging, opening and different transitions are smooth, without jerking. There was also no slowdown.

Performance

The processor of the Huawei Y5 2017 smartphone is not installed with proprietary Kirin, but from MediaTek, version MT6737T. I don’t want to say anything about this "pebble", because it is installed in almost every third device from other manufacturers. The processor operates at a clock speed of 1.4 GHz, which is more than enough for the budget segment.

The video accelerator is also not worth some cool Adreno, but the Mali-T720 MP2. Its performance is quite good and allows you to play most mobile games without much difficulty, including such as Asphalt, NFS, WoT.

In Antutu, the phone scored 40,754 points, which is quite good considering its class. This figure is noticeably superior to the 2017 model from Samsung - Galaxy J3. And if you also compare the prices of both devices, then the advantage here is clearly at the Huawei.

For the graphics test, several games were launched: Riptide 2, Asphalt 7/8, Modern Combat 5, Real Racing 3, Inhustice 2. The result was a pleasant surprise. In some games, the graphics settings were set to maximum - no fps drawdowns were noticed. However, for a comfortable game in the same Injustice 2, NFS, Asphalt 8, the settings still had to be reduced.

Camera

Huawei Y5 2017 has two cameras - the main one is 8 Mp and the front camera is 5 Mp. The quality of the pictures, as for a state employee, is very good. White balance is set correctly in most cases, but focus and exposure often miss.

As for the front camera, everything is perfect here. Sharpness is good, white balance, exposure - everything is on the level. Photos come out of high quality. For selfies and blogging.

The smartphone can record video in Full HD 1920x1080 30 fps. The sound is recorded in stereo, which is good news. The quality is not perfect, but at a high level.

The camera's settings are rich, you can sort it out for a long time, so we will not consider them.

Autonomy

With the autonomy of the smartphone, everything is fine. With more or less intensive use, the phone calmly survives until the evening. If we restrict ourselves to only calls, SMS, a couple of hours of surfing and online video, then the charge will remain until the next day.

Prices

Huawei smartphones have always been distinguished by their slightly overpriced compared to other manufacturers. This model is no exception, although if you look at the characteristics of the device, its performance and capabilities, the price tag is quite justified.

Today, the Huawei Y5 2017 Gold or White smartphone can be bought for 6700 - this is the lowest price. For comparison, the same Galaxy J3 (2017) starts at 10 thousand.

In the past few years, the line of smartphones has been replenished with numerous new products, which has significantly complicated the choice for users. Model reviews with a description of the advantages and disadvantages have become especially in demand. In this regard, we present our extended review of one of the new and already popular gadgets - the Huawei Y9 (2018) smartphone with all its advantages and disadvantages.

The first thing that interests many is the ratio of cost and functionality of the gadget. It can be attributed to the average price category in its class of smartphones. Huawei is not Vertu, but it is not inferior to him, that is, if you want to trump a beautiful and useful thing, then take it - do not think.

Advantages and disadvantages of the case

The second is respectability. Stylish, laconic design, ergonomic body with a good display, uniqueness and good visibility are given by minimized frames. The rounded edges of the case lend an element of grace, and the metal case back gives a sense of reliability. The smartphone is presented in three colors: blue, classic black and, for the buyer with a claim, in a gold case.

Body advantages:

  • Ergonomics;
  • Shockproof metal back cover;
  • Convenient side buttons.

Disadvantages of the case:

  • Large dimensions, which makes it difficult to fit in one hand;
  • It is difficult to operate the display buttons with one hand.

Purely in terms of external characteristics, the smartphone can be attributed to massive and dimensional male models, but in an elegant gold case it will perfectly complement the glamorous female image.

Display and its features

Huawei Y9 is presented in a 5.9-inch display, supplemented by an IPS matrix and the popular 18 by 9 aspect ratio today. The screen resolution is excellent - 2160 by 1080.

Display advantages:

  • High image quality, clarity;
  • The color spectrum is wide, the colors are juicy, the halftones are not blurred, excellent contrast;
  • The minimized frame creates a complete image.

Disadvantages of the display:

  • Glares, in the sun the image quality deteriorates significantly;
  • A small margin of screen brightness.

The fact that there are fewer minuses already speaks in favor of the smartphone, as well as the fact that it justifies its cost. We study further.

Performance as the most important and complex factor

Average users refer to this issue with little interest, since few people know and understand most of the terms used in this topic. Because of this, we will try to reveal this moment in the most simple and understandable way.

So, being an experienced user, familiar with many models, I would like to note a pretty good performance of the gadget in its price segment. The Kirin 650, paired with the Mali-T830 MP2 graphics chip, distinguishes the smartphone from many other brethren. In practice or during use, the latter allow you to expand the range of toys, and also significantly improve the quality of graphics, that is, the pictures in games are clear, and the applications themselves do not freeze. Advantages and disadvantages of Huawei Y9 (2018) through the eyes of a professional

After reading the numerous reviews and reviews of the new smartphone, I hasten to note that some of them are outright mediocrity, and some are specific stupidity, and therefore, I hasten to present its advantages and disadvantages more or less adequately as a generalization of the characteristics of this gadget.

Advantages:

  • Laconic presentable design;
  • Above average performance;
  • Increased autonomy;
  • Two double, in fact, four cameras.

Disadvantages:

  • There is no Ture-C connector;
  • The manufacturer did not indicate the NFC module in the characteristics, but it is present.

For completeness of the review, it is advisable to cite some characteristics and test results.

What showed the AnTuTu test Huawei Y9

This test evaluated the work of the smartphone in question at 7.4 points, I will immediately note that in comparison with its other brothers, the novelty received an average score, taking 6th place. But Yandex-Market gave the model primacy based on the criterion of demand and demand.

Experts also note that earlier models with the letter Y did not exceed in value up to 10 thousand, the smartphone released in 2018 exceeded this mark, which means that it is already difficult to characterize it as a budget one, but it is still possible, since in the last couple of years prices for gadgets and tech have increased. Thus, experts in this field classify the model as an average gadget in terms of price and functionality.

What experts did not note, but users noticed

User assessments of the gadget are also ambiguous, and sometimes extremely contradictory. The latter can be attributed to a small awareness of new smartphones and, in general, in similar technology. Another part of users expects a masterpiece of "digital creativity" for this amount. But, let's turn to user reviews.

So, all opinions begin in the standard way, they say, the model is not bad, but ... then they list the disadvantages:

  • Most of them report poor screen visibility in bright rays of the daytime sun. It turned out a little poetically, but this is a big minus, especially for those who are often forced to be on the street.
  • The fingerprint scanner is often moping. The experts agreed with this shortcoming, which confirms the correctness of the users.
  • The sensor buttons also did not satisfy users, they did not seem particularly convenient to them.
  • Especially advanced comrades in quotation marks "got lost" in the smartphone interface, having not coped with the settings, of course, noted this among the significant disadvantages - and this is in the 21st century.
  • Many people complain about the camera's operation, especially in automatic mode. In the distant form of shooting, the pictures seem to be drawn (here I can argue, since this is noted as clear and bright photos).
  • When watching a video, it is impossible to remove the working bar, which interferes with viewing.
  • The gadget takes a very long time to charge.

Benefits noted by users:

  • The users noted the unique "HYIP" - the gadget flashes a "face" and perfectly recognizes its owner by it.
  • Big screen.
  • The rear camera does not stick out.
  • The presence of headphones, a protective film and a silicone case in the basic set is a saving for the user.
  • The phone is smart and, what is important, strong - it can withstand drops.
  • High quality photos with the front camera. (so please people).
  • A lot of delight is caused by the work of the battery - in the mode of Internet surfing, watching videos and talking, the charge lasts for a day and a half, if you only read books and conduct conversations, then for all two days, but listening to music limits the charge to one day of use.
  • The presence of the "Ultra" mode extends the battery charge by 3 days.
  • There are no useless, non-removable applications and other software debris installed by the preventive manufacturer.
  • Excellent sound when talking (one of them is hard to hear not only the person talking on the phone, but the whole tram).
  • Presentable appearance.

Summing up the above, Huawei Y9 is a worthy invention of its manufacturer, as well as of modern times. The low cost of the gadget makes it possible to touch the masterpieces of scientific and technical thought for the average user with no less than the average income. In addition, I note that this smartphone is the best friend on the road in the sense that it is able to withstand a whole working day without recharging, while the gadget is not buggy or naughty. Allows you to communicate in popular applications and social networks, watch videos, read business letters, play your favorite toys, as well as endlessly and qualitatively take pictures, changing settings and modes.

In conclusion, I would like to note that most of the people who bought this model for themselves remained quite happy with it, and use it successfully, slowly replacing it with new products from competitors.
