If the front panel of the Redmi Note 5 Pro and Huawei Y9 2018 is almost identical except for the Huawei logo, then the rear panel has some differences. First of all, the Redmi Note 5 Pro comes with a vertical dual camera, just like the iPhone X. To be honest, I don't really like it, and Huawei's horizontal dual rear camera design looks better to me. Also, both smartphones have a fingerprint scanner on the back.

Huawei Y9 2018 is equipped with a processor from Huawei called Kirin 659. In addition, it has 3 GB of RAM and 32 GB of internal storage. The storage can be expanded using a microSD card. The AnTuTu test shows around 75,000 points, which is pretty good for a budget phone.

As for the Redmi Note 5 Pro, it is powered by a Snapdragon 636 processor, 4GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage. You can also find a version with 6 GB of RAM. It is also possible to expand the internal memory using a microSD card. Snapdragon processors are very good and they offer great performance and energy efficiency. By the way, Huawei Y9 2018 runs Android 8.0 Oreo out of the box with EMUI 8.0 user interface. Redmi Note 5 Pro runs Android 7.0 Nougat with MIUI 9 custom interface. Both interfaces are highly customized and both offer different functions and features. I cannot choose for you which interface is better, each user chooses to his liking.

As you can see, the Xiaomi smartphone has a more powerful processor, more RAM and more internal storage. If you are looking for a gaming phone, then the Redmi Note 5 Pro should be a better option.

Huawei Y9 2018 comes with four cameras: dual front and dual rear. Let's start with the main camera. On the back, you can find a 13-megapixel primary sensor and a 2-megapixel secondary sensor.
