The fourth version of Google OS has such capabilities. However, not everything is as rosy as it appears at first glance. First, the connection is transferred to the permanent memory - the addition that was installed and is lost. I don’t give too many specific details about how to activate the add-ons, since the list on the skin device is changing. This is a short list of things that most users don’t need, otherwise hanging on the system constantly takes up memory:

Accelerated additions

To speed up the downloaded programs, you can clear their cache. Go to the same place where you can enable/disable them, then “Settings -> Underground -> Accessories Manager -> All”, select the program you need and press the “Clear cache” button.

It also makes sense to install less resource-intensive programs - for example, Smart Launcher takes up less memory from my computer, compared to Samsung’s regular TouchWiz. You will have specific goals, but I don’t recommend following them in particular, as long as everything is left to your needs. I came across one of them, called Process Explorer, the implementation of which, however, seemed stupid - is it time to review the list of processes in the browser?

Before speaking, the Google Play service allows you to quickly update a bunch of add-ons, which, obviously, consumes resources. It is impossible to turn on this service, but you can turn on the update itself. To do this, go to the Play Store, click on the menu (hint: if you don’t want to go out, click on the additional soft key, “pull” from the left edge), select “Customization” and set it to “Auto-updating add-ons” “None”.

This way you can turn on the sensor and synchronize cloud recordings (which, in addition to possibly increasing the speed code, will calm your paranoia). To do this, go to “Settings” and find out where the “Cloud recording” item is located, then select the cloud recording and turn on synchronization (alternatively, you can turn on unnecessary types of synchronization ї, such as, for example, Google+ contacts or calendar). ed.).

The reason is that the forceStopPackage() method, which allows Greenify to transfer add-ons to an inactive state, is internal and accessible only to system add-ons or those running with root rights. In non-root mode, only the killBackgroundProcesses() method is deprived of its functionality, which does not completely destroy the process in memory, so systemic actions continue to come and “wake up” it, which does not at all correspond to ideology Greenify.

Therefore, in order to implement functionality in non-root mode, the Greenify solution is better than anything else and takes a very difficult route. When the program is installed, it registers as an Accessibility Service, thereby denying access to the system interface, and then simply clicks on the program manager and presses the required buttons to enter programs through the standard Android setup menu. Under sleep mode, this operation, unfortunately, is impossible, so on non-rooted Greenify smartphones you can install the program only after you press the button.

ART

In Android 4.4, a replacement for Dalvik appeared - ART, Android Runtime. You will ensure AOT compilation. In order to understand what the ART advantage is all about, we need to take a short excursion into history.

In the meantime, once the foundation has been laid for Android, as a result of the programming of Java versions, the majority of the world through those that have been transferred to the OS on various platforms. And everything was good, except for one thing - the performance of Java add-ons was low. This ensured that the code was actually interpreted.

It's the hour of the day. In Android 2.2, the Dalvik virtual machine added JIT compilation. This allowed us to achieve a significant increase in speed, but there were no problems. The first axis of the KitKat version has ART, which allows you to compile programs not at the time of installation - at the time of installation. You can turn it on in the same retailer menu where you turned on the effects. This, on the one hand, increases the installation time and size, and also, when turned on for the first time, a significant hour is required to convert all already installed programs to the native code. At the same time, in the opinion of reverse engineering, static analysis of OAT files still has difficulties - because the code simply does not have the names of methods familiar to us. ART will be enabled in the fifth version of the Google OS (and Dalvik will definitely be removed).
