Saturn. Deity bringing purification.

By: Dr. Prem Kumar Sharma
astro-mosaic.ru, [email protected])

The beneficialness of Saturn should be described, which I will try to do in this book. I used the word "beneficence" because I firmly believe that Saturn, deep down, wants to make us better and cleanse our hearts of the darkness of ignorance. Therefore, he guides us through a series of events in life.
I hope readers appreciate my humble attempt.

Jaimini Sutras

english translation with commentary and original text in Devanagari - Bangalore Suryanarayan Rao
correction and annotation - Dr. Bangalore Venkata Raman
edition by Sri G.K. Ananthram
Translation: Oleg Vladimirovich Tolmachev (astro-mosaic.ru, [email protected])

Jaimini is deeply respected throughout India not only for his philosophical aphorisms, but also for his astrological work. The Jaimini Sutras presented on these pages provide a system of astrology that has no parallels with any existing method. These sutras are very difficult to understand and Professor Rao has made every effort to explain them as clearly and convincingly as possible.

MEDICAL ASTROLOGY (Analysis of various diseases, astrology for women and problems of childbirth)

Author: Dr. Krishna Kumar
Translation: Oleg Vladimirovich Tolmachev (astro-mosaic.ru, [email protected])

Jyotish is closely related to other disciplines of traditional Indian science. In its medical aspect, it practically merges with Ayurveda. It is very difficult without understanding the causes of the disease, the signs of its course from the point of view of ancient Indian approaches, to draw any conclusions, to make diagnoses. Jyotish allows you to shed light on the causes of illness, allows you to prepare in advance for periods of life in which health may deteriorate.
By studying this book, you get a map of your weak points in terms of physical and mental health. Then you can work with these weak points in the Jyotish tradition (performing rituals, pacifying and strengthening the planets) or in another tradition that is close to you.

Mukhrta - Astrology of choosing auspicious time

Translation: Anatoly Pavlovich Telitsyn

Mukhrta is a section of Vedic astrology, this is the astrology of choosing an auspicious time ("elective astrology"). Mukhrta chooses the most appropriate time for an undertaking, action or event, for example, for a wedding, signing a contract, concluding a contract, traveling, conceiving a child, moving, or performing any other important action that requires a good result.

Book "Predictive Vedic (" Indian ") Astrology"

Authors: Stanislavsky S.A., Telitsyn A.P.

One of the first books in Russian about Vedic astrology and the first author's work (previous books were translations from English).

The authors of the book - Sergey Alexandrovich Stanislavsky and Anatoly Pavlovich Telitsyn - were able, in a small volume of work, consisting of two parts, to tell not only about the basics of Jyotish (Vedic astrology), but also to give a procedure for calculating birth charts for Vedic astrology and to reveal the applied possibilities of this science (analysis of maps and obtaining predictions), as well as the philosophical foundations of the Vedic worldview.

The book describes the basic concepts and methods of Vedic astrology and gives practical advice on astrological forecasting along with a description of the signs, planets, houses, nakshatras and basic charts (Janma Kundali, Chandra Kundali, Navamsha).

The word Jyotisha, jyotish (from Skt. - jyotiṣa - "astronomy, astrology" from jyotis - "light, heavenly body") - Hinduism. As a rule, it is called Indian astrology or Vedic astrology.

In India, in the early 2000s, astrology became the subject of a political struggle between representatives of religion and the academic establishment. The University Grants Commission and the Ministry of Human Resources Development decided to introduce a course in Vedic Astrology (jyotir vijñāna?) In Indian universities, backed by a decision of the Supreme Court of Andhra Pradesh, despite widespread protests from the Indian scientific community and Indian scientists working abroad and a notice from the Supreme Court of India that this is a leap backward, undermining the scientific credibility that the country has earned by this time. A number of Indian universities now offer degrees in Jyotish.

Jyotish is a type of astrology geographically related to India, now it is often called Vedic or Indian astrology. Like any astrology, Jyotish deals with drawing up horoscopes. They can be compiled manually, or you can - in the program.

Building horoscopes by hand is not only a laborious task, but also requires special books and tables. Theoretically, you can buy them, but it is not easy for a beginner to figure out what exactly and where to buy, how to use it in practice. Therefore, it is much easier to calculate horoscopes in special astrological programs.

Jagannatha Hora can do a lot more than Grahas, Maitreya, Zet and online programs. At the same time, it is simple enough that even novice astrologers could work with it.

Although I must say that preliminary settings before starting work in it are also needed. And the habit of using it does not appear immediately either ...

Grahas 4.0 - Free Vedic Astrology Program (Jyotish)

In the development of the program, data, texts and algorithms from books were used:
1. Maharshi Parashara "Brihat-Parasara-Hora-Shastram" Volume 1.
Translation from Sanskrit, commentary and annotation (C) Girish Chanda Sharma, 1994
Translated from English (C) by Anton Kuznetsov, 2001
2. "Vedic astrology". The author and compiler is Indubala. Moscow, "Profit Style", 2002.
3. James Bracha "Ancient Indian Astrology for Modern Astrologers", Moscow, "Kogelet", 2001.

Also during the development were used materials from the site of Anton Kuznetsov

Grahas 4.0 makes it easy to build Jyotish maps from 1625 to 2200 years.

Grahas 4.0 uses the Swiss Ephemeris when calculating.

It is possible to adjust the birth chart and other charts with one mouse click on any parameter (Time, Date and Coordinates). And the Card (s) will be recalculated.

Grahas 4.0 makes it easy (Search by mask) to select the coordinates of a city from 1087 cities of the CIS, In addition, you can find out how the time (Time zone) in a given city has changed depending on the date. On the territory of the former USSR, the time changed several times.

Grahas 4.0 builds Fractional cards (Hora, Drekkana, ... Shashtiamsha. 19 pieces in total).

It is possible to rectify the time of birth based on several important life events.

Using the mouse pointer, you can get information about any object (Planet, House, Sign, Nakshatra, etc.). Its unchanging qualities and properties that it receives in a given position. This applies not only to Rashi Kundali but across all fractional cards. And the appropriate interpretation.

Calculation of lunar days (Tithi) with start and end times of Tithi is available.

The program calculates Dash (Planetary periods up to 5 sub-periods).

Grahas 4.0 implements the calculation of the period of Saturn in Seven and a half years "Shani Sade-sati".

You can view 2 horoscopes in one window at once, the calculation of compatibility by various methods is also implemented there. There you can also view the Periods (Dashi) of 2 horoscopes at the same time.

It is possible to save a Rashi Kundali map or any fractional map to a graphic file (*. Bmp). Then you can print the saved files (*. Bmp) from any simple (Paint) and complex (FotoShop) graphics program.

You can save and load the horoscope and Dasha data to a file.

There is a function "Drawing Map". Menu item More-\u003e Draw Map.
In this mode, the program does not calculate the map. The user himself transfers the planets, arudhas and signs (signs are transferred only to the Lagna) to the houses he needs. And thus he can simulate the Map himself.

And much more.

And everything is in Russian. You can download this wonderful program
