Wot writes you are disconnected from the server. Why throws out of the game World of Tanks. Reasons for disconnection in WoT

Many faced the problem when, in the middle of the battle, right behind the wheel of a tank, the game simply crashed, ruining the mood of both the player and the team members. To prevent this from happening, you need to know why the world of tanks is being thrown out of the game.

The reasons, as well as the nature of departures, can be different. From a simple disconnection from the server, to a complete termination of the game. Let's start in order.

Server disconnections are most often due to server overload or packet sending error

And if in the first case, the player will not be able to change the situation in any way, then in the second case, the acquisition of a stable and high-speed Internet will be an excellent solution. If a player is on Wi-Fi, then you should make sure that there is no one else on Wi-Fi except him.

Another option for the development of the event may be a simple shutdown of the game and the player who plays in bewilderment will contemplate the desktop, in most cases this is due to outdated drivers. To prevent this outcome, simply updating the drivers to the latest version is sufficient.

Another reason for trouble is the lack or exhaustion of free space and, as a result, crash. Switching the antivirus to game mode, or even better, turning it off, will help to slightly facilitate the work of RAM.

In version 9.16, the client itself was raw and crashed due to a flaw.

Well, perhaps the most common reason is weak iron. Very often, the owners of weak computers, by their stupidity, wonder why they throw world of tanks out of the game or it does not start at all. If the PC turns off the BT not all the time, but from time to time, then most likely this means that the game makes it overload and for emergency load shedding, it stops the most demanding process. There is an option to alleviate the suffering - download the so-called fixes. An archive of textures that will replace standard and beautiful models with less attractive and less demanding ones.

Errors during installation sometimes cause inconvenience to players

The absence of any code in the executable file, the absence of a file required for the game and God knows what else. Because of this, the game does not have a link between one and another action and the system turns it off.

Viruses can significantly affect the gameplay, throwing the player out for no reason. They can also lead to fatal consequences, due to which not only the WTO, but the entire system can be irreparably hit. Although the option of disabling the antivirus for the sake of the game was mentioned above, after the end it should be immediately returned to working condition. If the virus finally infected the game files, then you should completely reinstall the game.

Some of these problems are fairly easy to solve, while others are not very easy, but it usually works.

There are quite a few requests in the comments to help solve the problem when there is no connection to the World of Tanks update server. There are three simple solutions that we will tell you about below.

Problem connecting to the update server

When it is impossible to connect to the WOT update server, use one of the following instructions to solve the problem, download the updates and enter the game:

Decision

Option 1

To solve the problem when you cannot do the following. First of all, make sure that the Internet is working properly for you. Then restart your computer and disconnect the internet if you are getting it through a router or router. That is, your network card or modem must be disconnected from electricity: the network card will turn off itself during the PC restart, and the modem, router, router or other connector is usually manually disconnected from the power. This way we are guaranteed to reset your current Internet connection and reconnect. After reconnecting to the network, the blocking access to WOT updates disappears. Typically, this option will fix the connection issue for users with dynamic IP addresses.

If after following this procedure, you cannot connect to the update server, try the other options below.

Option 2

Having tried the first option above, we do the following. You need to go to the settings of your network connection and change the available DNS server to a new one. In Windows 10, this is done as follows:

  1. We go into the parameters (Start - Parameters)
  2. Network and Internet
  3. Ethernet
  4. We call the properties of the adapter through which you access the Internet. If wired, then "Ethernet", otherwise "Wireless network". This is done with the right mouse button on the icon.
  5. Open the properties of the "IP version 4 (TCP / IPv4)" protocol also through the right mouse button.
  6. We put a dot in front of "Use the following DNS server addresses" and enter if not, otherwise we replace the DNS server with 8.8.8.8. This is Google's DNS server. The second is to enter the Yandex DNS server 77.88.8.8.
  7. Save by clicking on the "Ok" button.

For convenience, we made graphic instructions for you:

After completing the above steps, the connection to the World of Tanks update server will be made through the generally accepted open policy of access to Internet resources provided by leading search engines. This will nullify the problem with the unavailability of World of Tanks updates.

Option 3

If another solution to the problem with WOT. Most often, after the release of the next patch, the servers provide download access to those players who are the first to try to download from and to those of them who have a high-quality Internet connection. If you are not in the first category and do not have a high-quality network connection by modern standards, you just have to wait. Yes, you got it right. Once again: wait until the bulk of the players download the new patch, after which access to the update servers will be open to you. This filtering was done due to the fact that the number of simultaneous connections to the World of Tanks data center during the release of updates is off scale. In these conditions, priority is given to players with fast internet, who will not take a long queue to download the patch. Be patient and if everything is really in order with your Internet, after 6-12 hours after the update was released, you will have access to the WOT servers.

After patch 0.7. 0 1 many had an unpleasant bug - it became impossible to enter the game the first time, the gear at the entrance was spinning for a minute, after which the message "You are disconnected from the server" appeared. On the second attempt, the game was already running, but when the client departed, everything started anew - again driving the gear over the brain and again disconnecting.
On the forum, topics with a question on this bug were usually immediately closed with a proposal to contact support, but sometimes someone managed to leave there advice to demolish the wargaming.net folder (in XP it lies in drive_name: \\ Documents and Settings \\ User \\\\ Application Data \\ wargaming.net \\), this folder contains the preferences.xml file and the player statistics in the dossier_cache folder.
However, upon closer examination of the contents of this folder, curious things came to light - more than 10 thousand files ranging from 1 to 10 kilobytes were found in the custom_data directory, the oldest of them is dated December 26, 2011 (it seems that the 0.7 release was just then? I don't even remember what was there at that time and what patch came out)
The demolition of all this funny file fraternity immediately healed the client from the gags at the entrance, now he logs in normally the first time, but now I don't have time to test whether the bug will show up again, so I recommend it to everyone. whoever has a similar problem, look into custom_data, read everything there and check if it will definitely help (I suspect that over time the folder will again fill up with kilobyte garbage and the operation will have to be repeated)
UPD. edited the post to correct the confusion in the dates and patch numbers, it seems old age crept too quickly - I don't really remember anything. I also confuse dates :(
UPD2 Following the discussion. So, the kilobyte garbage actually turned out to be clan emblems, their removal really eliminates the plug at the entrance to the game. Obviously, the problem manifested itself in those who played a lot on test servers, starting with the test patch, in which the emblems first appeared. The client could digest a certain number of files in custom_data (I think, about 5-6 thousand) and then started to blunt at the entrance. Those who played a little or did not play at all on the test did not have a problem. What conclusions can be drawn from all this? I believe that in a week and a half after the release of the patch with the clan emblems, as soon as the majority of players have custom_data clogged with over 9000 emblems, the potato forum will break down from indignant cries and demands to fix the bug with the inability to enter the game the first time, unless, of course, gentlemen KTTS don't catch your eye earlier.
UPD3 In connection with further discussion. Because the problem manifests itself in those who have not been to the test, I will assume that custom_data began to fill up immediately after the implementation of the possibility of displaying clan emblems in one of the patches (it seems 0.7.0) while the actual display was turned off, but the loading mechanism itself remained and now the client downloads and stores dummy files instead of emblems every time the player encounters clan fighters with clantags - thus, with a fairly intense game, even only in random, custom_data is clogged with dummy 254 bytes, which leads to freezes. I recommend that you clean the folder yourself with pens, without waiting for a dozen or two thousand files to accumulate there, and then KTTS will catch up with automatic deletion of unnecessary files.

When starting World of Tanks, the user gets an error "You are disconnected from the server." Such situations lead to confusion, because there are no visible errors with the network. Disconnection from the server occurs during the game or when trying to enter it. Normal connection initiation will not help to correct the situation. We will tell you what to do first.

Reasons for disconnection in WoT

The WoT game gathers tens of thousands of players on servers with complex graphics. Such actions often lead to overloads inside the servers. As a rule, to unload the game, actions are taken to force users to disconnect. Do not forget about the possibility of defects in WoT files. The client is constantly being updated, which can lead to incorrect integration of new patches. The last source of failure can be changed network settings on the computer.

Login failed - "You are disconnected from the server"

Tank server "crashed"

Everyone is familiar with the situation when the disconnection from the server in tanks occurs due to its "fall". Maintenance work can be carried out on a planned and spontaneous basis when current problems arise. The management of the World of Tanks should notify this on their forums.

  • The tanker can only wait for the technical services to stop working. The advantage of the situation is the temporary nature of the inconvenience - up to 6 hours. For several days, no one repairs the servers - the problem is on the PC itself.

Repair via WGCheck

The WGCheck client was released by the company to address broken patch situations. Also, the specified software collects information, which is subsequently sent to the support service to find the causes of bugs.

You can download WGCheck from the official website: ru.wargaming.net/support/kb/. The player will need to indicate the path to the game, as well as initiate a file scan. The client himself repaired the broken sectors on his own. "Generate a report" and send it to technical support.

Tank mods can cause you are disconnected from the server

Many tankers sin by installing mods, sometimes completely unnecessary. Only a few are officially developed by the company, others work in a semi-legal state and are made on the knee. Remove all mods from unofficial developers to guarantee hitting the server. If the problem persists, try running WoT without any mods at all. Uninstall all supporting software or reinstall the game.

  1. By default, all mod packs are installed as regular programs. You need to remove them through "Programs and Features".
  2. If you act clumsy, then at the root of the WoT game files there is a res_mods folder. In it, erase all folders, except for the one that coincides with the current version of the game - the number of this directory will be the largest. Then open that folder as well and delete everything except the Readme file.

Checking the cache

Clearing the saved data often helps when disconnecting from the server. You will have to delete the cache yourself by finding the directories that store the necessary user software.

  1. First, we call the process "Run".
  2. We introduce the following characters, copying them into the desired field% appdata%.
  3. Find the Wargaming.net directory at the bottom of the list presented. Another one is embedded in it.
  4. We delete all visible data in the folder, and clear the trash.
  5. Please note - the password will be reset just like other user settings.
  6. It will not be superfluous to check your computer with the CCleaner utility. With its help, perform two options "Cleanup" and "Registry".

Changing the approach

Given the variety of servers presented, you can try to sort them all out for performance. Not necessarily the old checked channels will work. It is recommended that you do this process from time to time. Walking through all connections once will not be enough.

"Fall" of the communication channel when updating

The game client stopped receiving data during scheduled updates - a fatal error appears. She will tell you about incorrect data from the service. There is nothing critical here. It's just that the patches stopped regularly coming from the service responsible for their distribution. Everything is corrected after a few hours, when the service eliminates its shortcomings in speed or does not resume data delivery to users.

Conclusion

The above solutions help fix the "You are disconnected from server" crash reset in World of Tanks. But, given the jumps in the appearance of the bug (2017 - early 2018), we can talk about unstable operation of servers during overloads. The last thing to notice is that you should check your connection, or rather the DNS screens. It so happens that viruses (worms, hijackers, trojans) change DNS addresses, or clog the channel with background connections. Be sure to check your PC for viruses, AdwCleaner and Malwarebytes to help you. Also, keep in mind the speed of your connection, with a jumping ping, blocking in tanks can reset you.
