1. Run flash_tool.exe from the directory resulting from unpacking the archive.



2. Load into the program MT6735M_Android_scatter.txt - this is the file that is present in the directory with the unpacked firmware. To add a file, use the button "Choose"located to the right of the field. By clicking it, determine the location of the file through Explorer and click "Open".



3. Now you need to create a dump of the memory area occupied by the section "NVRAM"... Go to the tab "Readback" and click "Add", which will lead to the appearance of a line in the main window field.



4. Left-clicking on the added line will open the Explorer window, in which you must specify the path where the dump will be saved, as well as its name - "NVRAM"... Next press "Save".



5. In the window "Readback block start address", which will appear after the execution of the previous step of the instruction, enter the following values:
   • In field "Start Adress" - 0x380000;
   • In field "Length" - value 0x500000.

6. Push the button "Readback"... Turn off the smartphone completely and connect the USB cable to the device.



7. The process of reading information from the device's memory will start automatically and will end very quickly with the appearance of a window "Readback OK".

And if they do, then there is one more nuance - the gateway version. Two options are possible: with CAN-ohm 1.6 is old, and 2.0 is new. Why am I so focused on this: there is an option that on cars until 2009, something in the car will not fall asleep even with a quiescent current, which, according to rumors, will drain the battery up to 2A. Pichalka, right? But there are several ways out of the situation: buy a gateway 2.0, disconnect the radayka from CAN in a long coding, then it will not turn on and off with ignition, it will not plant Akum and there will be an error. And the last, simple way is to install the fix firmware. Watch her. I have not tested all this on myself, I have a slightly newer car. And what else is there with the Skoda, there is some sort of solvable problem with the buttons on the steering wheel.

You need to update from versions older than 3XXX in two steps: first install 3800, and then newer. The fact is that the partitioning of the disk has changed and the 3800 will do everything. Maybe other versions of the software do it, I don't know.
