What is it? Aero is a theme, a style that appeared first in Vista and then in Windows 7. It is a translucent glass effect. It looks very stylish, but it also eats a lot of resources.

In addition to beauty, there is no sense in this topic, so if your PC or laptop slows down a lot, you can try disabling Aero in Windows 7. Perhaps this will help you. For those who do not know how to do this, below are 3 simple ways to turn off Windows Aero in the "seven".

In general, this is the second useless function, due to which your PC or laptop slows down.

And the last way: advanced customization

In this case, you can turn off any unnecessary functions yourself at your discretion.

1. Go to Start - Control Panel - System.
2. Select "Add. system parameters ".
3. Find the Performance box and click Options.

A new window will open with a complete list of all Aero features on Windows 7. There is Aero Peek, transparency effect, shadows from shortcuts and mouse cursor (who knew about them? 🙂) and much more.

You can turn off anything you don't need - just don't forget to click Apply. If you don’t need anything at all, select “Provide the best performance” - all checkmarks will disappear in 1 click.

There are no Snap and Shake functions, so they must be disabled manually (according to the instructions above). And if suddenly the appearance of the Aero theme in Windows 7 has become worse, reopen this window and check some of the boxes.

Namely, the function in the Windows system, which provides us with a shadow on the screen, animation, displaying thumbnails, smooth scrolling, shadow under the mouse, and so on.

Actually, you can download various additional visual effects from the Internet. There are now quite a few sites that provide this service. In other words, install additional software on your computer. Most often, from similar effects, people set a beautiful clock in the upper right corner and a calendar. Also, various timers, or a program that arranges all the labels in one line, and so on.

All this, of course, is good, but only if you have a pretty cool and modern computer. But what if your computer isn't that new? Or even old? In this case, all these animation effects are slowed down. The computer not only starts to boot slower, it works slower.

Since visual effects require additional processor resources. Your computer can get very slow, so I advise you to turn off visual effects, but only a few.

If you disable them all, your system will look like Windows 95, which had a rather boring interface. Personally, I don't like this kind of system, although many people do just that.

Disable visual effects

First of all, if your system is not original, but a national team, then, most likely, the developers have added their own additional gadgets to the program, such as clocks and so on. There is little sense in them.

So, we turn off all the excess data. You can see how many unnecessary gadgets there can be. We don't need them. We can already see the clock at the bottom right. I would remove them all, leaving only program shortcuts. So, next we need to enter the visual effects function. In all Windows systems, they are similar and are located approximately in the same place. I will use the example of Windows 10.

So, right-click the "Start" button, select the "System" tab. In the window that opens, in the left column, select "Additional system parameters".

We will have a new window open, where we will select an additional menu. Then, above the "Performance" block, click on the "Parameters" button.

If we choose "Provide the best look", we will have a checkmark over all the effects. The desktop will become beautiful, but the load on the processor will increase. Consequently, the computer will take a long time to boot.

If you choose the best performance, all the checkboxes will be removed, and therefore your desktop will look like Windows 95. Read each effect carefully. Think about which one you need and which one you can do without.

Or just check the boxes where they are in my screenshot. Then, click Apply and Ok. So, after the done steps, take a close look at your desktop. If its appearance suits you completely, you have completed your task, if not, you can return all the checkboxes to their place.

Then, you can remove the jackdaws one by one and check whether you like this kind of desktop or not. It all depends on your taste and the power of your computer. Good luck!

How to disable visual effects on Windows 10

We will open a window where we need to select the "Advanced" menu, the "Performance" submenu, the "Parameters" command.

Time passed, and with it the power of computers improved. Modders have created a modification that allows you to improve the graphics through the use of shaders.

The code has been rewritten to allow per-pixel shader processing, for example, to add specular and normal maps used in modern games. The modification requires a video card that supports shader version 2.0 or higher, although it can be used on a video card version lower than 2.0

• specbase - sets reflections on transport material where none is present.
• pipetype - Set the type of version of your video card shaders. A value of 0 is for shaders below version 2.0.

• enablerealrefs - enables / disables real-time reflections. Use at your own risk. The effect is disabled by default.
• cubesize - resolution of real reflections in the map cube.
• skipxframe The number of frames between which reflections are updated.
• enablepostfx - enables / disables post processing, or rather bloom.
• screenk - Number of the key to take a screenshot. The default value is 74 (this is the F5 button)

This modification is still useful for those who own rather weak video cards. Plus developers have the opportunity to improve the mod.

The modification improves the effects like SA GFX, only when the d3d9.dll and d3dx9_35.dll libraries are used and the following features are present:

• Running the game in a window
• Removing the default motion blur and glowing effect on the screen, but adding a new one.
• Soft bloom.
• Reflections in real time.

All of these effects are controlled in-game by pressing Alt + F2, with the launch function in the window enabled by default.

Motion Blur Advanced

Everything is simple here. Adds new power blur to GTASA. The main advantage is that you can change this data, because the usual type of effect in the game appears only at high speed in certain types of vehicles.

Like SA GFX, this mod runs on .asi and works fine with other graphics mods. Screenshot lovers usually prefer to turn off blurring through this addon and use this effect in other graphs. mods where the blurs look much better.
