Types of parabolic SA

Based directly on the satellite, parabolic satellites are divided into two types:

Polar suspension (Fig. 1.44), which allows the antenna dish to follow the entire visible part of the geostationary orbit, resting on any selected satellite. The polar suspensions are powered by an electric drive and controlled remotely using a positioner located in the middle. They can receive signals from a large number of satellites.

Mechanical value. It is obvious that narrow pipes and heavily filled channels of cables with a back-mounted dielectric are subject to strong mechanical forces and inflows. Physically spun dielectric ensures extremely high mechanical strength (durability) of the cable, which allows you to keep all its parameters essentially unchanged after heavy kinks, stress, c.

Zgasannya. The higher coefficient of extinguishing is the high coefficient of gas content in the dielectric and the reactive selection of raw materials.

Support the steady stream. This value is low for cables that have pure copper for the central conductors and pure tinned copper for the braids (Div. Table 1.1). The value for cables of the RG 6 and RG11 series, which include:

  • copper steel like the central ones lived;
  • braided aluminum.

Screening coefficient. The European standard EN 50117 stipulates that this parameter should not exceed 75 dB at these frequencies. In the shortest cables, the VIN does not fall below 90 dB for smooth frequencies of 30-1000 MHz.

High efficiency of the screen is achieved through the frame of the combined screen:

  • like the first ball is solid aluminum foil;
  • like the other ball there is a high-quality (79%) CuSn braid.

Carrying out the cable

Passing the cable from the head that receives it to the folding receiver does not squeal. Cable preparation involves stretching the cable for the required length and installing connectors on the cable. The main stages are presented in Fig. 1.46.

If the satellite antenna hangs behind the window, then the opening for the cable can be done in two places: either near the window frame, or near the wall on a level pedestal, which is completely drilled. If the antenna is on the floor, the cable is installed either on the façade (the cable is attached to the top of the floor and runs through the window frame into the wall), or on low-current risers.

After completing the installation, the opening must be sealed with additional sealant. When drilling openings for cables in wooden window frames, it is necessary to drill spiral drills with a diameter of 8 mm.

  • less than 750 mm for vertical routes;
  • less than 230 mm for horizontal routes.

Most often, in individual satellite television systems, a vicor cable of the RG-6 type is used.

The cable connects to the satellite receiver and satellite antenna without sticks and connects, the remainder goes to the signal. After pulling the cable, you need to install an f-connector to connect the LNB receiver.

In the era of the rise of satellite and cable TV, especially for city dwellers who hang around in their rich apartments, the power supply of the installed TV antenna on the TV is no longer a problem. This problem, as before, is relevant for the management of television broadcasting at the dacha or in a private booth outside the area. Satellite TV is very expensive, not every person can afford to spend a lot of money on the purchase of a satellite TV receiver as a summer option, so the rational way out would be to add an analog receiver and secure it with your own hands. This article lets readers know how to install an antenna on a private booth.

Antenna installation options

After the antenna is installed, before installation it is necessary to re-install the component fastening and carry out a preliminary cleaning of its threaded part with either tar or machine oil, or, in extreme cases, silicone lubricant or WD-40. If you decide to install an active antenna, in order to prevent oxidation of the contact point, it is recommended to seal the cable with waterproof silicone after completing the connection to the electronic board.

It is important to decide on the location and height of the antenna installation based on the strength of the direct TV signal. In practice, the most popular are two options: on the façade of the booth and on the floor. Let's take a look at the technology of installation.

There is a booth on the façade

The simplest and least difficult option. You can install a TV antenna on the façade yourself without any help, but this method may be costly. To ensure proper reception, the signal from the nearest repeater requires such pressure that the device does not need to be raised high. The choice of installation option combines the material and finishing of the walls of the booth. Installation on siding is impossible and even more problematic on aerated concrete masonry. The ideal option for installing an antenna on the wall of the façade would be if you are in Vikonana or village. When installing the track, keep the distance between the mountings on the stand no more than 1.5 meters. As a fastening material, it is recommended to use anchor bolts or self-tapping screws.

  1. Primal antenna device.
  2. Metal pipes or wooden beams.
  3. Bracket.
  4. Anchor bolt (self-propelled screw).
