Here's a reminder. Siem Reap: main reminders and important places. Find hotels in Siem Reap

Near Angkor Wat and in the middle of the ruins of the ancient site of Angkor Thom, there is another great temple of Cambodia - Bayon. It was founded in the middle of the 12th century for the achievement of the reign of King Jayavarman VII and the dedication of the famous Buddha.

In front of tourists stands a monumental temple-mountain, a heaven of creations by nature itself. Here and there fantastic shaved heads appear, similar to stone heads. Bayon is respected by the stone wonders, the enemy of the human eye.

The monumental walls of the temple are guarded by lions with tired jaws, and the temple itself consists of three terraces that change. Near the lower terrace there are beautiful sculptures and elegant reliefs that depict the everyday life of ordinary people and historical figures. On the walls of another terrace are depicted scenes from religious and mythological rituals.

The top of this temple is its central tower, which symbolizes the center of the world and the mountain of light. In the center of the tower there was a figure of Buddha, the height of which was 4.75 meters. Unfortunately, only fragments have survived to this day. Nearby there are also 52 smaller ones, the skin of which is topped with several human faces, brutalized on all sides of the world. There are 208 such faces.

Thus, this chimerical, monumental and partly fantastic temple is a true masterpiece of the middle-century architecture of Cambodia and the cultural and historical decline of the region.

Crocodile farm

The crocodile farm in Siena Reap is not just an attraction for tourists, where you can marvel at the exotic creatures, but also a real farming dominion, which is a method of removing the end product - the crocodile skin.

The farm is located near the southern part of the place, along the road to Lake Tanle Sap. There are about 300 Siamese crocodiles hanging around here. In nature, fresh water bodies give preference to stinks, and here swimming pools serve as their place of residence. The farm was created in 1979 under the Ministry of Agriculture as a zoo and remained in this form until 1989. There is an infection of private power, and crocodiles are growing here not for the sake of protecting one’s appearance, but also for commercial interests. However, this anitrox does not reduce the visibility of the drainage, especially if you stop the process of ageing. Moreover, for a small fee you can beat the crocodiles with fish, pumping or trigger.

At the farm shop you can buy products made from crocodile skin: bags, hampers, belts. For those who crave exotics, they sell a lot of crocodiles - a product that is very specific, but if you decide to make such a purchase, do not forget to take a receipt from the store. On the right, in the wake of the war against Fatherlandism from Thailand, it can be confiscated - until it is exported from the brink of obstruction. If you present a receipt for a purchase in Cambodia, there will be no problems with importation.

Tonle Sap Lake

Lake Tonle Sap is the largest fresh lake in Piddenno-Skhidnaya Asia. The area of the lake during the low season is about 2,500 square kilometers, and during the rainy season the same river that flows from the lake changes direction, and the lake fills up to 16,000 square kilometers.

The Khmer translation of the name Tonle Sap sounds like this: “Great fresh water,” but is most often translated as “Great Lake.” This incident is explained by the fact that the literal translation does not demonstrate effectiveness - Lake Kalamutne and Muliste. Mandrivniki, who came to these regions, are usually swamped with Khmer and Vietnamese floating villages, as well as biosphere reserves with untreated swamp birds. It seems that Tonle Sap is a supernatural fishery place, since ancient times fish flowed in large schools, and Cambodians obtained their own fish by fishing.

Residents of this region spend all their lives on water. Near this lake district you can find floating hospitals, police stations, restaurants, shops, schools, bars, cafes and gas stations. This is how life is mastered, so that since their youth, the aborigines have lived with an oar in their hands. Because the other way of transferring here is simply impossible.

The most obvious fact of their current history is that Cambodians value the liberation of the country from French colonization. The Monument of Independence, erected near Phnom Penh on the 9th of 1962, became a symbol of the new sovereignty. An exact copy of this monument was created at the Siem Rep site.

The author of the story became the famous Cambodian architect Van Molivan. The Vikonian monument is a modern interpretation of traditional Khmer traditions. It is important that the monument was erected to commemorate the Head Tower of Angkor. It looks like a five-story pagoda with cut-through doors and passages, built of terracotta colored stone. The natural height of the sporudi is 20 meters. The edges of the leather tier are decorated with the heads of cobras - there seem to be 100 of them here. Now the monument is distinguished as a monument to the protectorate of France, and as a symbol of eternal memory and life of all those who perished in the terrible fate of the huge war.

The Monument of Independence in Phnom Penh itself, and its exact copy in Siem Reap, have been created in a unique style, a miracle of beauty and even more popular tourist sites. The offense is especially bad in the evening when the spotlights change. On National Saints Day, the monument is decorated with red, blue and white stitches, which symbolize the Cambodian ensign.

Siem Reap Airport

Siem Reap International Airport (IATA: REP) is the largest Cambodian international commercial airport located in Siem Reap. Located 8 kilometers from the city, Siem Reap serves mainly tourists who come to visit Angkor - the main monument of Cambodia. The airport accepts aircraft of class A310/320 and lower.

Banteay Kdei Temple

Near Siem Reap you can find the restored Banteay Kdei Temple. The date of his sleep is set to the twelfth century, at the hour of the reign of Jayavarman VII. For unknown reasons, the work of the temple was even chaotic - projects were constantly changing, which in connection with the architectural plan was an absolute mess. In addition, the material that is used during everyday life turned out to be low-grade, which became the main reason for the current state of Banteay Kdei.

The name of the temple Banteay Kdei is translated as “Citadel of Shrines”. Apparently, the temple was built on the ruins of an ancient Buddhist temple. Today, planned reconstruction work is underway at Banteay Kdey. A great work has already been successfully carried out to save the temple from the roots of trees.

Lolei Temple

Loley Temple was founded in 893, during the reign of Yashovarman I, King of the Khmer Empire. The temple was dedicated to the father of Yashovarman I - King Indravarman I. The main feature of the Loley temple was that it was built on a small island in the middle of the Indratataka barai - a man-made reservoir (as it was not preserved by Donina). The area of the island was approximately 80 by 90 meters.

Today the Loley Temple is a monastery. For these reasons, many architectural figures were depleted - the people did not hesitate to spend an hour on research and took up the improvement with their own hands. Under his rule, everything that the Chens considered “unnecessary” was demolished, including terraces and bridges.

On the walls of the Loley Temple you can see little ones that represent gods, monsters and snakes.

Would you like to know how well you know the ancient city of Siem Reap? .

Ta Prohm Temple

The Temple of Ta Prohm was founded by the Khmers from the 12th century to the beginning of the 13th century. Its primary name is Rajavihara. The temple is located approximately one kilometer away from Angkor Thom. When King Jayavarman VII fell asleep, he conceived the temple as a Buddhist monastery and university.

Prom of dedication to the Hindu god Brahmi. The temple was discovered in the 20th century under the program of renovation of the temples of Angkor. The external appearance of the temple is of grandeur - the walls and walls of the temple are topped with ancient trees, like roots woven into the stone. Once the temple began to be cleared of trees, it became clear that the root of the tree itself was the main element that held it together, without which the temple would hardly have survived to this day. After this, the decision was made to strip everything from wood to decorate the walls of the temple and the dosi.

The most popular monuments in Siem Republic with descriptions and photographs for every taste. Choose the best place to visit your home in Siem Reap on our website.

On the territory of the Angkor Wat complex, only Mavpi and Zukhwali illegals spend the night in their tents. Others sleep Places of Siem Reap(Siem Reap) 5 km view of Angkor.

The siem rip is small (200 thousand chol), but not too heavy, but lively and delicate, so as to settle in the right place.

Tourist movement in the area Pub Street(Cafe, bar, music, massage, market). The outside and atmosphere is analogous to Khaosan Road near Bangkok. It is important to live not in the epicenter itself, but in order on the inner streets in order to calm down.

Rent a hotel closer to temples at Siemripa not required. You won’t have to walk (far), but it’s 15-20 miles by tuk-tuk or bike from any point.

If you have a family and a romantic, you can sit in silence near the center. Dinner in the hotel and stories.

After the temples, you want to live and eat, but not 115 minutes of walking along the road to the nearest kebab shop, and behind the horn and deliciously.

Siem Republic has hundreds of hotels, guest houses, and hostels. Your eyes start to open up, and then you read the jokes and pfft. Є nuances.

If possible, search for hotels on your own territory to avoid the chaos. Evenings require enjoying the snowstorms and hearing the birds, not the horns of motorcycles.

Far away hotel near Siem Republic

It took a long time to choose a hotel near Siemripa, then it went away. Zupinilasya in Residence Wat Damnak, 3*, rating 9.3

There were three days for the hotel. I lived in the Golden Banana Residence (rating 9.4 ) - this is the same hotel, there is only one reception.

At the middle the chest became 32$/dobu, For a week - 28 $, for a day - 40-50 $ per day.

In Asia, I choose a hotel based on the photo on the booking page, a copy of the name and look at the same hotel on Roomguru (updating the number of reservation systems). On Ostrivtsi and Agodi it is 10-20% cheaper.

My criteria: plus minus 30$/Nich, order from Pub Street, quiet, with swimming pool and snacks, cost-free transfer from/to the airport.

  • Room 40m²(Family rooms are 70-80 m²). Hot water, wifi, air conditioning, fan. Terrace overlooking palm trees and swimming pool.
  • The room is in colonial style. Bright colors, windows, tiles on the base (clean!).
  • 2 swimming pools
  • Snidanok enter. Swedish style from 6.00-10.00. Rice, pasta, eggs at the bottom. Fruits, vegetables, rolls, croissants. Sik, kava, tea.
  • The hotel has three booths and its own territory. You may prefer.
  • Roztashuvannya is super. Quiet street, 7/11 and a cafe with Khmer/European cuisine. 5 minutes' walk to Pub Street. If you cross the bridge over the river, you are in the epicenter.

view from the balcony
  • Cost-free transfer to/from airport. In other hotels there are no costs for only one bill, back to the airport 10 $ for a tuk-tuk.
  • Arrangements for cars, excursions, tuk-tuk. Try out the standard route, or tell the reception where you want to go, wash yourself, what to do for the whole day from the sun, sunset, and refreshments. Market prices.
  • Staff- Okrema topic. Mission to Gothel: to give a start in life to young people from poor families. The guys at the reception are 16-18 pm. They are starting to deal with foreigners. Please like a native. Welcome drink (tamarind juice), sit here, as your day has passed? 40 times like this, what we got in touch with, etc. More English. Tell, explain, help. Tidy up thoroughly.
  • One night there was loud music from the Hard Rock Cafe, and the French were rehearsing a song. I closed the balcony and it was very quiet. There was no way to hang out.
  • Knock-knock is more expensive, lower on the street: $20 for a small bike in Angkor and $22 for a big bike. Street tukers are $15 for a small circle and $20 for a bike, but go shopping, bargain - whoever needs it.
  • The shower is a large shower under the shower, just wash your head, unless after a hot day you don’t need anything else. The pressure is good.

Airport transfer

The hotel was booked the day before check-in. In the comments I indicated that in 21.30 I want a cost-free transfer. They immediately said: “Dyakuyu, who chose us, vod chekateme.” Go from the airport to the place 30 hvilin.

Flew from Bangkok, 20 minutes to go through control and get a visa. IN 22.00 came out of the flood zone. A sign with my name, laughingly denouncing.

-Only you? Alone? You shvidko. I check for tourists for two years. Are you a star? Belarus? They speak Spanish there, right? Are you going to marvel at the world tomorrow?

- Acsit, dear one. Tomorrow I'll sleep it off.

This is how we met the tukker Chamnab, who was driving a costless transfer to the hotel. I didn’t prank anyone else, I rode around the temples with him for two days. The guy is positive, he didn’t harm me.

Knock-knock in Cambodia - a motorcycle, and in the back there is a wagon. I could rent a bike all by myself, but you still feel like you're in trouble. Shade, wind, you are in the carriage.

When I got to the airport, 8 people were escorted from the hotel. They ran after the tuk-tuk, waving their arms in honor of the lucky road. I haven’t seen anything like this before.

For three nights I didn’t find the hotel. I would have lost more if I didn’t have enough purchases for the flight to the seas. I’ll come back to Siemripi again and settle there.

Video about Siemrip

Meni Siem Rep was honored. The resort has a unique atmosphere. Plenty of fruits, wines, tall people. After three years, Myanmi was lost in May.

There are more Chinese people gathering at the temples of Angkor. Evening Siemrip - all the European youth with beer and a couple of miles.

Tukeri Poshepki sell grass. Happy pizza (also with marishka) is sold on the skin (no longer a patsy). They laugh and rejoice in life. I’m not getting used to it, but it’s all just fun, Christmas time.

At the next post we will tell you about the options for looking around Angkor.

I wish you flaming cocktails and fresh shrimp!

Mila Demenkova

With the development of tourism, tourism infrastructure began to be created in Siem Republic. Today, the area has hotels of different levels and price categories, and 6 km from Siem Rip there is an international airport, the largest in Cambodia.
Having visited Cambodia and Siem Republic together with my squad in 2011, the country has lost all hostility.

How to get to Siem Repu

To buy air tickets at the best price, the fastest way is to use air ticket search systems, which include the largest number of airlines and agencies that sell tickets.

How to get to Siem Reap from Phnom Penh (Phnom Penh)

It's not a big deal to get from Phnom Penh to Siem Reap. The easiest way is to work by bus; the hour is about 6 years. Phnom Penh does not have a single carrier, Siem Reap, and this function is performed by many companies. You can get tickets for the bus to Siem Reap at hotels and guest houses or travel agencies.
There is another option according to the Tonle Sap River, which is less friendly and more romantic.

How to get to Siem Repu from Thailand

A lot of tourists visiting Thailand come from Thailand to Cambodia. Most of the Siem Reap waterfalls come from Pattaya and Bangkok.

How to get to Siem Repu from Bangkok
1. Air flight, in principle, you can fly for around $100. The hour is approaching, then add another road to the airport and 2 years before the departure you need to go to the airport.
2. Taxi prices start at approximately 3,000 baht for an age of approximately 4 years.
3. Tickets for the bus can be bought, for example, on Khaosan Road, from any travel agents, of which there are plenty. As an option, you can get a government bus from Mo Chit station. Buses depart every day, tickets are sold at the first station (in the middle) at bus number 23. Cost of travel – 212 baht. (You can change it).
The road from the cordon to Siem Reap
From Thailand you will be taken to the border place on the Thai side of Aranyaprathet, on the Cambodian side there will be a place called Poipet. From Aranyaprathet you can take a tuk-tuk to the Cambodian border, the price is approximately 100-150 baht. So just walk the shuttle-bus to the cordon with the sign free, on your own. They need everything from you, including tuk-tukers, and even take money from you in order to take you to the agencies that issue a visa for the city. After passing the checkpoint, you will be “placed” on a costless bus, which will take you to the bus terminal, and you will be taken to the remaining 160 km to Siem Reap, for about $10.
Є option get from the border to Siem Reap by taxi, the price in 2013 was 30-35 $, but you might have to bargain.

How to get from Pattaya to Siem Reap
There are three main ways to earn money.
1. By taxi - the simplest and most expensive way.
2. Book a transfer from the Pattaya travel agency. The price is approximately 500 baht as of 2011. The age is 3-4 years old. In my opinion, this is the optimal way: prices, comfort and what you get. The minibus picks you up directly from the hotel.
3. By bus, which leaves from the bus station on Pivnichnaya Street (North Road) from Sukhumvit Road. Bus from Bangkok, ticket price 250 baht. You can get your ticket later. The bus will take you to the Aranyaprathet town near Cambodia.
I especially arranged the transfer at the agency in which the Russian guy worked and gave us the whole schedule of how and where to go at the border.

In Siem Reap we got from Pattaya, having arranged a transfer with one of the tour agencies. On the way they took us to this cafe. How to get a visa to Cambodia “without problems”, but the price is the same. In fact, there are no special problems when obtaining a visa at the Cambodian border.

Cordon between Cambodia and Thailand

Now already on the territory of Cambodia

How to get to Siem Republic from Vietnam

From Siem Reap you can fly directly from Vietnam's main destinations without transfers. If you are in Ho Chi Minh City, you can also get to Siem Reap by bus, which takes 12-14 years. In all, there will be two transfers at the border between Vietnam and Cambodia and at the capital of Cambodia, Phnom Penh. Tickets can be purchased at travel agencies in Ho Chi Minh City.

Essential places to see and do in Siem Reap

The main attraction of Siem Reap, especially, is Angkor, which is located 6 km from the place itself.

The cream of Angkor in the place is also a number of places to stand aside.
Siem Republic has a number of large temples, which Buddhists call Wat.
- This is a great and very beautiful temple, which is located near the center of Siem Reap.

On the walls of Wat Preah Prom Rath there are little pictures that describe the life of Buddha.

Reclining Buddha statue at Wat Preah Prom Rath.

This is one of the oldest and most modern churches in the place, on whose walls paintings from the 19th century are preserved.

Wat Bo is one of the oldest and most ancient temples of the place. These were created in the 18th century, and paintings from the 19th century are preserved on these walls.

For 12 km. Near Siem Repa, on a mountain 140 meters high, there are ancient ruins of a temple dating back to Yashovaram I around the 10th century.

Go to Prosat Phnom Kram.

Ruins of Phnom Krom

Even a small Buddhist temple is in ruins, and from the mountain itself, miracles are revealed throughout the entire area.

From the Phnom Kraom mountain there is a view of the entire area.

On Phnom Kraom, you can wash a table with champagne or whatever you want, standing right on the grass, and in such a romantic atmosphere you will watch the sunset.

Angkor National Museum The museum tells about the history of Khmer culture and civilization. The museum is very modern and interactive, it has a whole range of rooms, each dedicated to a different theme. Working hours: usually from 8:30 to 18:00. Entrance fee: 12 $.

Cambodia Cultural Village At this theme park-museum you can learn about the life and lifestyle of the numerous peoples of Kampoja from ancient times. In fact, there are 11 villages in the park, which include numerous cultures that linger on the territory of the Kingdom of Cambodia. You can admire traditional performances such as merry ceremonies, acrobatic and dance shows, elephant shows, as well as the traditional Apsara dance. Here there is a museum of wax articles that tell about historical ideas and familiar features, from ancient times to the present day. There is a traditional restaurant on the territory of the village. The cultural village hours are from 9:00 to 21:00. Entrance fee: $11, no cost for children.

Siem Reap War Museum On the way from Siem Reap to the airport there is the Military Museum. Great exhibits are displayed under the open sky - tanks, helicopters, flying planes, most of which are already overgrown with grass and are in a no-fuss camp. Some of the equipment was moved here for everything after it was hit. Entry to the museum costs $3.

Crocodile farm. So, just like in Siem Republic itself, you can buy crocodile skin beetles, but they are much more expensive. The sellers explain that they guarantee that the stench does not leave a trace.

Outside the souvenir shop and crocodile enclosures, there is nothing else on the farm.

Siem Reap hotels, de zupinitis

Today, Siem Republic has a great choice of life, for any taste and gamani, from 5 to 200 $, per night. To choose your own hotel or guest house in the city, quickly use hotel search systems, which include the largest number of booking agencies. Over 3,000,000 travelers search for hotels near such important sites as booking.com and agoda.com. Before you book a hotel, take a look at the location of the procedure and the availability of assistance.

And in which hotel we lived in a room for two people with all the necessary means, for only $7 per meal.

A coconut palm grew right in front of our window.

Transport

Siem Republic does not have such a huge transport system. Transport representations include tuk-tuk and taxi. How to trade in Asia, the price can actually be reduced a few times. A trip around the borders of the place costs 0.5-1 dollar. To most places, the place itself is not easy to reach for pawns, because the place is not big at all. There are many hotels that rent bicycles for $1 to $5 per day, and people rent them without costs. Also, don’t forget to take enough water with you if you’ve already ridden your bike.
To see important places, it is better to rent a transport service for a day or several days. In 2011, I hired a driver in a Japanese car with air conditioning for 3 days and drove us not only for monuments but also wherever we wanted, for $95 (I hope without haggling). I later found out that renting a car for the whole day starts at $25.

Well, Siem Reap is nothing like a village with a river of the same name in the middle. Siem Reap is translated from Khmer as Siam movements. This is what King Ang Chan (1516-1566) called him, according to legend, after defeating the Siamese (Thai) army and burying over 10,000 enemy warriors. Prote, history is a sweet little lady, and after a century Siam overcame Cambodia... And now irrevocably. Before speaking, different wars are waged among themselves regularly, including new ones, not only economical and political.
Until 1908, Siem Reap lost its remote village, and even after the discovery of Angkor by Europeans, tourists and investments rushed here.
Siem Rip is not large - only about 200 thousand. residents You can get around it (as it is a must) in a year or two. You can rent a bicycle. Or take a quick taxi/tuk-tuk (by taxi you can go to Angkor - 25 USD per day). Bikes are not available for rent - they are fenced in)). This is a method of stimulating tourists to pay more - take cars).

There are not many monuments: Old market, Night market, Pub street, a couple of churches, an exhibition of snowstorms, a museum of mines and an ethnographic museum. I don’t know, everything is for amateurs. Lurking close to Angkor, buying souvenirs in markets and opening pubs, in my opinion, is the best time to spend.
You can, of course, go to a massage or to Vistava with apsara dances. Vibachte, we were ignored.

Here you can marvel at the show. On another version, it seems
There is no sense about the hotel fund. Siem Repi's night is filled with delight and gusto. From beds at the hostel for a few dollars, to hotels for hundreds. If only I wouldn’t have spent so much money. For 40-60 dollars per double you can get a very decent room in a very nice, clean hotel with a swimming pool and food. You can choose a hotel on the same website agoda.com

Where to settle? Considering that you need to get around Angkor by car or tuk-tuk, it makes no sense to settle closer to the temple complex. Therefore, my choice is the center. Order with the main reminders (about life and shopping).

A little about the Khmer cuisine of Siem Reap. First of all, the stink of a lot of fish. Richkovy. It’s not surprising that the Tonle Sap Lake is flooded and is one of the largest lakes in the world, especially since it overflows during rainfall. In other words, the cuisine is not just delicious. And it’s so tasty! There is no gostra, like Tai’s. Not. very tender. I – very cheap. The average variety of strains is around 3-6 dollars. Tobto. for 10-15 dollars you can have a very tasty and hearty meal. Inexpensive beer, you can drink it anyway. Fresh. Meni. In Siem Republic, however, there is a specific herb - happy pizza (with drugs). I haven't tried it.

Dinner is better on the tourist Pub street or in a hotel. Well, it's cheap there! Don’t wait for a cafe for local people)).
Fruits – love the price of one dollar. Unfinished. We bought cups of fruit that we finished eating in the province of Crab in Thailand.

About the people of Cambodia. The stench is absolutely beautiful and screaming. Especially children and women. They vary in size and size from small Thais. Extremely wide and kind. In Siem Republic, everyone, including young children, is required to speak English and bargain smoothly. The trade is carried out by children and women. I did not photograph Khmer children outside the temples, because... I didn’t buy anything there and it was difficult for me to take them out without any harm. And from those that are lying around the same temples, then - why not? There’s no point in letting on.

Fathers in Cambodia do not overwork
The French language, surprisingly, is not popular, Even though the country itself was a colony of France for many years, Yogo (French) remembers a few people older than the generation. By the way, all wives in Cambodia are still called “madam”.
There are a lot of disabled people. The edge is still after the rule of the Red Khmers on the floor. Then it is not cleared away from the surface. Tourists are not recommended to go off the beaten path to the safe clearing of Angkor. It’s time to clean the Cardamom Mountains. Bands of red Khmers were found there. It’s even more painful to see the madness of rulers to kill people.
Subtle women of Cambodia
Shopping: srіbnі embellishments and screens, sewing speeches, T-shirts with the inscription Danger Mines. Skoda, who only managed to buy some seam scarves, did not lose the strength for other purchases after the Angkor campaigns.

A couple of remarks that you need to learn in Angkor

Get up about 4 o'clock so that you can already be in Angkor by 5 and climb the temples in the "cold" and without any pressure.

Zustriti svitanok at Angkor Wat. It’s unforgettable.
Stay under the air conditioner during the day. So hot! It would be better to go home and swim by the pool, rather than melt in the sun.

Carefully plan your route to see both nearby and distant temples, as well as climb Phnom Kulen.

Mother has a huge camera with her, a tripod and a TV. Well, or a mile with a full zoom (a tripod).

Take a ride on the windy kultsya. It didn’t work out for me, I’m doing it wrong.
So, it’s not ok to exchange pennies for local currency - all you have to do is give it back. And it’s even easier to walk there! Golovna - mother from herself get enough of the banknotes.

Map of Angkor, boonus)
Basically everything. We got taxis to the border in Thailand. We crossed the border by speedboat (hurray for carriages with an independent exit), there we also took a taxi to Bangkok and in the evening we walked the streets of Ao Nang in search of nothing, wondering about Cambodia.

Siem Reap in Cambodia is a more popular, yet unnoticeable place in the Khmer Kingdom. Sim Reap owes its popularity to the Angkor Wat temple complex, marvel at how tourists from all over the world live. Read the article about Angkor, and today we will share our enemies from this place.

Siem Reap: photo of the street and the enemy

People in the city move around not only on bikes and tuk-tuks, but also on bicycles; there are no traffic jams. There is no diversity in cars. A couple of streets were marked with light bulbs, which is a great rarity in Asia. It’s difficult in Cambodia, but in the tourist areas of Siem Reap there is a stink. The only things we can say about the roads are those that are already paved, but many of them are undergoing repair work.

On one of the central squares they started to sell birds. The stinkers are so cute, although in the photo they don’t look very healthy.

It’s funny that in Siem Republic there is a 6-Eleven store, an analogue of the Thai 7-Eleven. Only the assortment is deprived of the best quality. Nothing nutty or savory is sold, mainly chips, pechiva, loxin, peas, water, and alcohol. That being said, the prices are very high for Asia.

6-Eleven Siem Reap

Siem Reap is non-tourist

In Siemripa, when a little comes from the center, it is difficult to drink, the place is often wasted, the waste material is scattered, or everything is overcrowded. Although, I am not surprised, since all this “beauty” has been in such a camp for more than one time.

How to book a transfer from the airport?

We appreciate the service - KiwiTaxi
We ordered a taxi online and paid with a card. At the airport they crowded around with a sign with our name. We were taken to the hotel in a comfortable car. Your evidence has already been reported this statistic

The growth and green grass are easy to discern. In the central tourist areas, you’ll get a chance to go into the alley and you know, the landscape is changing dramatically. You can walk along the street and see a beautiful or unusual kamyani in Khmer style. Having burned by the rig, rub it on the old booths on the fires. There are a lot of temples in the area itself and on the outskirts.

Before speaking, in Cambodia it is customary to have booths on fires through the threat of poisons. As you appreciate Cambodia, you can always be on the lookout for the following:

Then walk another three minutes through the rubbish and you again come across the street and the street with a bunch of tourists in front of the street of motorbikes.

The atmosphere at Semripa gives off a feeling of incompleteness. Nemov is not a permanent place, but a transit point, where everything will be repaired and never obtained, where people transport large loads (smite?), and children run barefoot through the streets, play with the whole and gloomily marvel at Europeans.

We've got these kinds of stories about Siem Reap. Hello, don’t cry, everything is clean and decent in the tourist quarter! We describe life in Siem Republic as a whole, because the original residents of the place live not in hotels, but in such huts and sheds.

The whole picture is complemented by the same type of booths. Having a more or less decent booth is a rarity. And then, having enjoyed yourself like this, you think that this can be a hotel or a guesthouse.

Outskirts of Siem Repa

On the way to Thailand, we saw different views from the window of our bus. Endless fields, poor rural villages and around them there are huts on the fields, tall palm trees with a round crown, such are the crowds of people in Cambodia.

The marvelous sights of Siem Repa are proud

The nature is deserted, the palm trees are mixed in and are occasionally trampled by little bodies. The grass was burned through the thickness of the boards. In the winter, nature here even predicts our autumn.

Excursion to Angkor Wat from Siem Reap

Well, everyone comes to Siemrip for the ancient temple of Angkor Wat. Chi varto yogo marvel? Definitely so! Perhaps this is one of the most significant monuments not only in Cambodia, but in all of Asia. We would put Angkor Wat on one level with. After Angkor, we no longer need to marvel at other temples.

Siem Reap Hotels

Hotels in Siem Republic are full of taste and delight. Everything for those who come here from all these little corners of the world. Tourists from poor Asian countries stay in cheap hotels and guesthouses. More secure travelers from Europe and the USA choose hotels in Siem Republic of a high level, even up to five stars. There are also hotels of the middle level, ranging from 30-50 $ per room, which can accommodate the majority of tourists.
