According to the author, his system was updated 1.5 years ago, and he decided to change the processor to a stronger one, and also replace his old Super Armor case with a new Corsair 900D, which would have been enough, but the author doesn’t hesitate. fragments He wanted something unique and special, and given the variety of options, he came up with the idea of a wall-mounted computer. This is how this difficult project began.

The author started by taking photographs of all the components in their real size, using Photoshop for this purpose, and was able to move all the details of the working space, and marvel at what they could see. Next, an acrylic sheet of plastic was taken, which was transferred to the chair of the motherboard. Since the video card will be at a sufficient distance from the motherboard, you have to buy rubber for the PCIe slot, it is recommended to buy more expensive cables, because they have a short protection, and they won’t interfere with the code.

Now the time has come to “destroy” your old computer.
On the old computer, hard drives were placed in special Vantec HDCS boxes, instead of 2 5.25" there were 3 boxes for HDD.

The first launch was not complete, the system was hanging steadily, two video cards were working, but the PCIe cables were connected to the cables, which turned out to be susceptible to electromagnetic transients. I tried to get some additional protection for additional foil, but it didn’t give any special results.
This problem was only helped by the purchase of very expensive cables, which was a necessary remedy.

It so happened that the case of my laptop (HP pavilion g7 2330 sr), without being inspected for an hour, broke into pieces,
where the cover bracket is attached to the display, and try to find a new one at an adequate price without much success.
There are no used cases at all, and all of them end up with broken pieces. As a result, it was decided to work from a laptop to a stationary PC.

The body itself is made of 6mm plywood, and the decorative elements are made of 4mm plywood. For all the details, two arches of plywood were used, approximately 50x50 cm, and the final hanging cut was approximately 42 meters.
The body was glued together with Moment glue on wood.
The board is secured to the case with bolts, so as not to cut the holes in the case, by cutting small washers out of wood and pressing nuts into them.
