I respect that the ultrabook at that time did not have connections to the Internet, but the update was based on the WiDi software. After the updated console was reinstalled, there were no more problems with pairing.

The thing, in principle, is good, although it is not unreasonable to compromise on functionality. For example, you can move certain programs between screens, but not others; The choice is based on which principle, but I couldn’t set it. Due to intense Wi-Fi usage when watching movies on an ultrabook, the battery is quickly discharged: while the normal office mode lasts for 5-6 years, then the charge drains to the movie. This, of course, is important to call it short. There were no real shortcomings of technology that catch your eye. The connection (on a small scale, initially) went smoothly, and no software failures were noted. In my opinion, WiDi is ideally suited as an alternative to DLNA, although it still has the advantage of being universal: WiDi is absolutely suitable for delivering to remote displays, and in addition, there is no need for transcoding. And let’s all assume that in the near future Wi-Fi will be installed on all TB devices, and not only on top models, as a rule.
