How to choose a computer: solutions for home and office. Do you know how to choose a computer system unit for home use? Good computer for gambling and robots

10 happy for purchasing a computer

The computer bathroom on the right is quite convincing. First of all, it's an expensive purchase. In other words, this is a technique that can lead to serious work. Thirdly, experienced professionals will never know how to select the optimal PC components in a market that is already limited.

We will try to help you choose your current computer. Of course, the relevance of the article is greatly lost with each passing month, but the basic principles will help to navigate the coming hour.

Also, there are ten areas of PC use (from office work to graphics simulation). Let's exchange some of the most popular places. Well, we need a computer to play daily video games, listen to music, watch movies and, of course, type texts and surf the Internet. Such a digital center for the development of the entire homeland. Having identified the goal, let’s move on to the decision.

Today's computer can become a home control center

We will try to choose the most reasonable system, which will reduce the cost and cost, while depriving the future of the possibility of upgrading the computer. We wanted to please you that you need to show respect when purchasing. Smartly, selecting a PC, you need to connect to 10 power:

  • How suitable is the monitor for completing your tasks?
  • What is the reliable and robust body of the robot?
  • Does this motherboard work reliably with other PC components?
  • Is the processor suitable for multimedia programs?
  • How much RAM is there?
  • "Chi pull" video card for daily games?
  • How can optical drive be used from DVD and recorded?
  • How much capacity does the hard drive have?
  • Won't the sound of the audio system be “flat”?
  • What manipulators are best suited for multimedia and gaming?

We are here to help you with nutritional recommendations and recommend other solutions.

Basically, an office computer is necessary for most simple tasks, for example, preparing documents in Microsoft Word or Excel, their friend, working with mail and communicating with the outside world via the Internet, so for now we’ll start with the budget collection of systems new block and monitor selection. I would like to point out that the indicated prices are approximate for the purchase of components as of the end of 2017.

Right now we need a central processor. The most relevant of them is the Intel Pentium G4560. It has two physical cores and threads, but the price is much cheaper than the latest generation Intel Core i3. The energy consumption of the table is low, so you need to clean the boxed cooler.

You don’t need a video card, since the processor has all the necessary characteristics for standard add-ons. The cost of such “satisfaction” is close to 5 thousand rubles. In this way, we immediately focus on two elements of the system.

Central processor Intel Pentium G4560

The “heart” of the PC must be installed at the output port on the motherboard. In this case – LGA1151. This is clearly demonstrated by system boards of the 100 and 200 series. Instead of updating the BIOS, it’s better to try another option. For example, on the MSI B250M PRO-VD LGA 1151 type mATX, there are two connectors for displaying images - DVI and VGA. It is very important that parts in offices may interfere with monitors with an analog video signal. It will cost you 4000 rubles.

Motherboard MSI B250M PRO-VD LGA 1151

This board has two slots for RAM with a frequency of up to 2400 MHz. Let's take one stick with a volume of 4 GB because of the possibility of expansion up to 8 GB for the current one. The Patriot memory module costs 3 thousand. rub.

For optimal solutions for saving data in the office, you can use a standard 2 TB HDD. In the meantime, several projects can take up enough free space. Approximately 4 thousand must be paid for a TOSHIBA E300 with a SATA III interface.

This configuration does not have a discrete video card, the central processor generates little heat, so we choose a 350-watt power supply unit, for example, GIGABYTE GZ-EBN35N-C3, at a price of 1000 rubles. It can be connected to any uninterrupted power supply unit in order to ensure the maintenance of important data when the power supply is connected. Aje is not a victor of PFC in any way.

350 W life block GIGABYTE GZ-EBN35N-C3

The case for computer elements for the office is rather small. We chose a motherboard of the mATX type, which was a simple one without any bells and whistles, for example, LINKWORLD VC-13M33, for only 900 rubles.

Peripheral devices (mouse, keyboard, optical drive, memory card reader) are selected to your liking, but there is little concern for functionality. It will cost you a few thousand rubles.

For comfortable work in the office, a clear-colored monitor is required. Here there is a great deal of respect for the transfer of colors, static contrast, and the ability of a small screen. It is also possible that there is a change in the level of the blue color, which will pleasantly appear at dawn at the hour of heavy walking in front of the screen. This is most likely supported by the IIYAMA X2474HS-B1 monitor with a diagonal of 23.6 inches. You can manually connect it to the system unit using an additional HDMI-HDMI cable, which is already included in the kit. That price is quite affordable - about 8,000 rubles.

Monitor IIYAMA X2474HS-B1

The final step of this process is the addition and installation of the Windows operating system, especially version 10. You can find it for 7,000 rubles.

Monoblock for office

Thus, if you choose a computer for the office yourself, you will need about 35 thousand rubles. Alternatively, there is a shorter route - immediately buy a candy bar that combines all the components (All-in-One), it is important to change the area that is occupied, and the food supply associated with assembling the system unit.

The downside is that it is important to find a device that will satisfy everything at an adequate price.

Let's take a look at the LENOVO Idea Center 510-22ISH monoblock based on the Intel Pentium G4560T processor at a price of 33 thousand rubles. The processor frequency is reduced by 20%, the hard drive volume is set to 1 TB, the screen is 21 inches, DVD-Rom is daily. It has Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, built-in speakers, a keyboard and a mouse, and the Windows operating system is installed.

Ready system unit

At this time, there is no need to rack your brains over the selection of components and their complexity, manufacturers are trying to buy a ready-made system unit, selling various assemblies at different prices. For those, perhaps, this will be the shortest option, and in this case, in addition to the candy bar, there is no maneuver for choosing a suitable and safe monitor, one of which we looked at earlier.

As a budget system, you can purchase, for example, a DELL Vostro 3668 computer with an Intel Pentium G4560 processor, 4GB DDR4 memory, a 500GB hard drive, an optical drive and Windows 10 for 21,000 rubles. The only drawback of this solution is the small amount of disk space needed to save information, but for most it will be enough, and you can purchase an additional 1 TB hard drive, which will cost 4 thousand rubles Lv.

System unit assembled DELL Vostro 3668

You can make a purchase that for a budget PC for the office you will need to spend about 35 thousand rubles, and which option to choose is up to the doctors themselves.

Optimal office PC

Folding the system unit for components

Let's now look at how to choose such a PC, which will require a lot of resources for the work.

CPUs with two physical cores are consistently surviving their century, because these cores are promising, especially since office computers buy into this trivial term.

Here you can purchase an inexpensive 4-core AMD Ryzen 3 1200 processor, which costs about 7 thousand units. The cooler is included in the kit. The peculiarity of this CPU lies in the fact that it is not unlocked for overclocking, so its frequency can be close to 4 GHz, which is not bad for its performance.

A cheap motherboard like mATX ASROCK AB350M-HDV on socket AM4 for 4500 rubles is a good choice for the processor. It carries all the necessary video connectors and six USB 3.1 ports.

If you have a number of programs running on your computer, and one of them is Photoshop, you may need more than 4 GB of RAM. It’s better to take two 4 GB RAM sticks on Mayboot, for example AMD Radeon R7 Performance Series R748G2133U1K for 5 thousand rubles. The 2-channel mode has more memory, which can easily impact the productivity of the system.

The case, storage unit, hard drive, peripheral devices and monitor are essentially the same as those found in a budget package. The main difference is that the AMD processor does not have an installed graphics core, so you need to select an external video card. For office work, go for one of the cheapest current models - MSI GeForce GT 1030 Aero. You will reach any building through your small dimensions. The vibrator receives 10 years of service at maximum strength. The value of this video is approximately 5 thousand rubles.

The connection between an AMD processor and a discrete video card will be faster than the Intel Core i5 with an integrated video core, which will work in graphics applications. If you want the price can be equalized.

The result is a system with average productivity for 45 thousand rubles. This is entirely for those who are not busy gamers in the office.

The optimal all-in-one for the office

A similar configuration within a monoblock costs already 57 thousand rubles. For example, the ACER Aspire Z24-880 monoblock has a 4-core Intel Core i5 7400T processor, 8 GB of RAM and a discrete NVIDIA GeForce 940MX video card.

Ready system unit

If you look at the finished system unit without a monitor, an ACER Aspire TC-780 with the same parameters can be purchased for 41 thousand rubles. For the protection of peripheral devices and the monitor, the price will be 5,000 rubles. In this case, we take into account the smaller volume of the 1 TB hard drive and the limited possibility of overclocking the processor. More importantly, when choosing components, you can choose between the main video card and RAM.

Powerful office PC

Folding the system unit for components

The difference between a highly productive computer and an optimal one for an office is the presence of a powerful processor. In 2017, the amount of money spent on your collection changed dramatically with the appearance of new AMD models.

For example, a six-core and twelve-thread CPU AMD Ryzen 5 1600 BOX with a frequency in turbo mode of 3.6 GHz costs 15 thousand rubles. This can be compared with the remaining 6-core Intel Core i5-8400 Coffee Lake, which does not have Hyper-Threading technology. Moreover, motherboards for Intel processors are still sold in the range of 10 thousand rubles and are mainly allocated to the home segment of the market.

Thus, in order to get a personal PC for the office, you will need to spend 53 thousand. rub. The importance of the gaming system is limited only to the latest discrete video cards and life units.

Ready system unit

A ready-made case with components based on AMD Ryzen 5 1600 – DEXP Mars E167 – with the installed Windows 10 operating system can be purchased for 45 thousand rubles. If you include a monitor and input device here, the prices become practically the same. Therefore, you should choose between a large hard drive when choosing components or a small video card in the finished assembly.

It’s difficult to say what the collection itself will do for one office or another, but individually, but looking at the complete set, the designated item, it can be said that most offices won’t do it. Everything that has been said will be formalized in a table.

In this article, I will tell you how to choose a home computer for purposes such as work and homework. Beginners often do not know which component of the computer is what it is needed for, and therefore cannot select the computer itself. They have to resort to consultations or buy a computer on their own, which may turn out to be, for example, too weak for the needs of the consumer (as they wanted to protect in advance) or, in the end, to overpay a significant amount for a daily “cash”, which is not Vikoristov is trying to do his best , Some of the equipment is needed for the simplest tasks, such as surfing the Internet, creating a text document or a table, unzipping it, watching videos and other similar tasks. And in this article I will show you what components and at what price category you can buy when a computer will be used for the simplest office tasks: work and homework.

What exactly am I talking about when talking about an office computer? This is a budget version of a computer (you can buy it here for 15,000 rubles), the productivity of which will not be high and will serve for work and learning. More specifically, on such a computer you can easily process office documents (Word, Excel, PowerPoint and the like), surf the Internet, watch videos, download simple and “easy” (due to resource limitations) programs on the Skype online disk, iv , various managers are downloaded and, in general, everything that does not relate to current resource-intensive games. In this case, the computer is not pratsyuvatime abiyak, but pratsyuvatime dosit shvidko! A very weak computer that will work on modern operating systems (Windows 7, 8) can be purchased for less than 10,000 rubles, but who needs such an old one, who can afford one meal?
Perhaps the only thing that will be practically impossible on a computer in a standard office configuration is playing daily games. Are you choosing a computer for your work or hobby? This means you don’t need games, but if anyone needs to gamble, then buy an expensive gaming computer for about 40-50 thousand.

First of all, since you are not completely oriented around the computer, I would like to discuss what component of the computer is used for, as it seems, what the main characteristics are. How can one of my previous articles help you, which I recommend for beginners to read before reading this article! Since simply choosing components for assembling a computer is practically a matter of choice, we don’t understand what’s going on and why – it’s not an option.

In this current similar article (about the construction of a gaming computer), I will cover the most stationary ones, then. home computers, and let's talk about laptops and netbooks in the following statistics:

It is clear that in these articles I respect the assembly of the system unit with all the necessary components, without fixing the monitor, keyboard, bear and other peripherals! We’ll talk about choosing various peripheral devices another time.

Chi varto kupuvati ready system unit?

First of all, a ready-made system unit that has already been assembled will cost much more in the future!

Ale here it’s time to lie to your evidence. If you have ever assembled a computer with several components, then it is not a good idea to think about buying an already assembled computer. Do you need to overpay the due amount (maybe close to 5000 rubles or more), so that you can now pick up the system unit from other purchased components?

If you are a beginner, you have never opened this computer box and don’t know what or where it connects, then in this case it’s easiest to buy a ready-made system unit and don’t bother. Overpay for the installed operating system (or not again) and, obviously, for those whose computer is already ready for use. Most often, everyone would like someone who knows their way around computers and can help you with your selections. If you have such an acquaintance/relative/friend, and you can’t get help from him, then, of course, you should select a computer based on the following components. Well, and in this case, you probably won’t benefit from this article, because everyone is a different person :)

Below I will show you the selection of various components for the further construction of the computer! If you decided to buy a ready-made system unit for work/study, then you will be surprised that it will consist of components of approximately the same level and with similar characteristics, as we will discuss below.

We select components for a budget office computer!

The best way to select components, in my opinion, is through various online stores. For example, for Moscow they are: Yulmart, Wow! , CityLink. The same is true for the indifference of others. Take a look at one of the sites and you will understand what I’m talking about... In principle, in some places there are similar online stores, it’s easy to choose accessories based on different parameters. Another easy way to select components is the Yandex-Market service. In addition, you can, just like in online stores, filter the selected product using various parameters, and then select one of the stores that matches the ones you are looking for.

So, what do we need for a simple inexpensive computer:

Selectable processor. It's not so complicated here. For an office computer, we do not need any fashionable processors with a large number of cores, for example, the Core i3, Core i5, Core i7 lines. Such a decent price, for example, a Core i7 will cost you about 18,000-20,000 rubles, at a minimum!

We work on the simplest processors of the Intel Pentium line. For our purposes, a processor with a frequency of 10 3 GHz (gigahertz) and two cores is ideal. This one costs around 4000 rubles.

Like a butt, Intel Pentium G2030, for 3,730 rubles:

You can get a cheaper one with a frequency of 2.5 GHz.

Select the motherboard (system) board. We first need to filter the very boards on which we can install the processing processor. The characteristics of the processor initially indicate a socket for installation on the motherboard or a “Socket” (Socket) in a scientific way. For example, we chose the Intel Pentium G2030 processor and in the characteristics of the main socket - LGA 1155:

This means that you need to choose something that supports the installation of a processor with such a socket! In addition, it’s good that the board will support all the daily interfaces for connecting devices:

    • USB 3.0 - for external flash drives and external hard drives;

      SATA3 - for connecting hard drives and SSDs before payment;

      Support for DDR3 RAM.

The top companies are Asus and Gigabyte and are considered the most reliable, but the price will be very high. For our purposes, you can choose one of the motherboards from MSI, which is cheaper to ship, but the performance is still at its best. For the price you can easily invest up to 3000-3500 rubles.

As an example of the required payment - MSI B75MA-E33, for 3100 rubles:

Go to the processor, guesses at the 1st point, and all current roses, expansion slots. We stocked up what was needed.

Select RAM. For office tasks, install 2 GB of memory with one module (slat). It is important to check the characteristics of the motherboard, what RAM frequencies it supports and adjust depending on the time of choice. For example, in point No. 2, I showed on the example a motherboard that operates at lower frequencies, including 1600 MHz. This means that you can take memory with such a frequency and you will see the average. It’s also surprising that the memory type is DDR3, while DDR2 is already on its way out. Such memory will be completely sufficient for a simple computer for office work. The companies we choose are Kingston or Hynix - the most popular ones on the market.

The motherboard now has at least 2 slots for RAM, which means that later you can buy another memory module and increase the storage capacity! The RAM really affects the productivity of the computer and if it does not drain, you can see the rigging of the entire system.

Butt axis (DIMM DDR3, 2GB, Kingston, KVR16N11S6/2 for 1440 RUR):

Selectable hard drive. It’s important to note that, choosing a budget version of a computer, we cannot afford an SSD drive, since they are much more expensive than the original HDDs, which are similar. The main characteristic of a hard disk is obsyag. The choice of hard drive on the right is individual, because you yourself know how much data you save on your computer. Although you will watch a whole mountain of movies at a high speed, you will mainly save installed programs and essential office documents. If a system unit costs 15,000 rubles to fit into the budget, then a disk with a capacity of more than 500 GB can hardly be afforded. But to be honest, I can make a lot of this kind of obligation, as long as I don’t skimp. I especially would have been completely sick of this!

It would also be good if the HDD supported the current SATA3 interface, which has much greater data transfer speed than the aging SATA2. When choosing a board, we already made sure that it supports all the current interfaces, so you can choose a SATA3 drive. I will sell the companies to Seagate and Western Digital. I myself especially buy Seagate drives and regard them as the most reliable.

A hard drive with parameters that have been overhauled will cost about 3,500 rubles.

    Stock: Seagate Barracuda 500GB 7200.12, ST500DM002 for 3370 rubles:

Selectable housing. Taking into account all the components that I showed in the example, I have already spent: 11,640 rubles. At the same time, there is another 3,360 rubles to add a case and a CD/DVD-ROM, since the need for replacement disks is still present for most computer users.

The building can be taken directly from the housing block and invested in the region of 2000 rubles. The life block will cost us 300-400 VATiv, since our computer is far from overpowered. The most important thing is the video card, otherwise we will use the used one, the fragments will not be needed for our tasks. When choosing a case, the most important thing for us is its form factor. The form factor means how much the motherboard will fit in the case.
The increasingly popular format of motherboards is mini ATX (mATX) and the board, as I showed in the example in point No. 2 of this format itself (this is already indicated in the characteristics of the board!). The case has the same form factor as the motherboard, or you can take it from stock, for example, an ATX form factor case. The ATX case can accommodate both a large ATX motherboard and a mini ATX motherboard.

If the body is taken directly from the life block (so you can get it cheaper), then it is necessary to reconfigure it so that, in addition to the obvious tension, the life block contains all the necessary parts for connecting to all our components.

It is necessary for the life block to be at the forefront of the roses (tops):

    • To connect the motherboard. Required 20 or 24-pin socket. It is necessary to admire the characteristics of the motherboard that it is. If the life block is 24-pin, then you can connect it to 20-pin. The documentation may call this connector “ATX 20/24 pin”;

      Dodatkov food for the processor. The life block has a 4-pin square connector, which can be indicated in the documentation as follows: “CPU 4-pin”;

For connecting hard drives SSD and CD/DVD-ROM. To connect these devices today, use a SATA connector. It is important that the life block has at least 2 pieces, so we will have a hard drive and a CD/DVD-ROM installed!

Other roses for our arrangement are not obligatory.

An example of a description of the roses contained in the life block:

Various obligatory obligations must be indicated when selecting a housing together with a living block, otherwise you will find that you buy it on your own!

Butt case with a 450-watt power supply unit for 1966 rubles:

Of course, you must understand that the body cannot be of high quality for such a pittance. There may be unclear material and other noticeable imperfections. Well, at the moment we are choosing a budget computer, and then, why should we save money this way or another?

Select CD-DVD drive (disk drive). For office workers, they often have a need for a disk drive today. For example, to reinstall Windows, you only need to write the system onto flash drives and not all of them will be removed. You may also need a disk drive for installing any programs, recording discs with music, movies, games, and so on. By the way, as of today, the flash drives have clearly not jammed the drives yet.

As a matter of fact, I lost 1394 rubles to select a disk drive, which is quite enough.

There are a lot of companies that produce fast drives: NEC, Asus, Pioneer, Plexter.

The characteristics of the product are limited by the type of drive you choose to connect to the system board with SATA drives, as well as the types of disks that are read and write to the drive. To be honest, if you buy a drive from a brand worth 1000 rubles, you will probably not be able to read any type of CD or DVD disc. Blu-Ray drives are not visible, because, first of all, the stink costs the average person 4,500 rubles, but otherwise, not a wide range of people need the stink, in my opinion. For example, I have never had the need to burn Blu-Ray discs on my computer and read them too.

Butt of the selected CD/DVD drive for 1160 rubles:

Well, that’s all! In practice, I have collected components for a budget computer that will cost up to 15,000 rubles for work and homework and will be comfortable to use.

Why didn’t you choose video and sound cards?

Reading the article, you might be struck by the fact that when I showed you the selection of components for a budget office computer, I didn’t even look at the selection of video and sound cards. And you might be dreaming: “Why?” On the right, most motherboards already have an integrated video card, as well as a sound card (probably all motherboards today have a sound card built in). If your motherboard has an integrated video card, you will find a video connector on the back of the board that looks like this:

As a rule, you will not find out the characteristics of the supplied video card upon purchase. You just have to understand that such a video card is not intended for running complex graphics applications and, of course, daily games (just like the old ones). With the integrated video, you can easily work with any documents, without the difficulties of working in graphic editors using Abobe Photoshop. If you try to play any casual games, you simply won’t start in the first place, or it will be impossible to play them due to very low productivity. However, for a budget computer you don’t need an external video card, and there are no plans to run games on anything else, but for the whole purpose it’s integrated!

The presence of the installed sound card on the board can also be seen behind the power connectors on the rear panel:

The new sound card will no longer serve the most important needs of most users! It may be suitable for everything except recording music through connected instruments and other tasks related to professional work with music. For example, if you play an electric guitar and want to connect it to your computer to run related programs, connecting to a built-in sound card is a bad idea. The wickedness will be vile. For such purposes, it is recommended to buy an external speaker!

That's why, while choosing the components of a simple computer for work and beginning, we didn't consider buying a video card or a sound card :) I'm sure it's clear.

Well then... Having read this article, you will only need to select components of approximately the same level, focusing on the criteria and characteristics that I would like to make it easier for you to make transactions through some kind of online store (at a cheaper price). It often happens that one store does not have all the required components with the same characteristics, and this happens in several stores. Ale, it's not scary. After purchasing, you will lose all components, attach them to the system unit (case) and you're done!

On a computer made up of such components as I mentioned earlier, you can run a variety of random games. Well, if a computer is purchased specifically for gaming (especially in all cases, it is necessary to have a reserve in advance), the launch of even “important” graphical add-ons or the use of resources for any other tasks that utilize the computer’s abundant resources, then Irka will be completely otherwise. The cost is approximately 3 times more expensive :) I will tell you about the selection of components for a gaming computer in one of the upcoming articles:

That's all for now... Good luck to you! Boo ;)

Intel, AMD, NVIDIA, Giforsi, Radeoni, Gigabyty,Gigahertz... How not to get lost in such words? What to look for when choosing a gaming PC? What is important to the nobilityYou, so as not to get any pardons?

What do you need to know before choosing a computer?

1. The selection of a gaming computer begins with the selection of a game, as you play on a new one - more precisely, from the value of the system capabilities of the game (igor) to the computer.

Igor is richly and powerfully able to master all kinds of people. For example, Counter Strike is not at all able to “climb”, and Mafia III - for example, can be “galmuvat” on heavy-duty computers. And GTA V is popular among gamers and is located here in the middle: it can be run on simple computers, but if you want to get away from the attractive graphics of the game at maximum settings, then you will need a computer higher than the average price Ven.

  • You can see all the options available to your computer on the retailer’s website or on the official website of the website, or you can ask our consultant (the form to chat with a consultant is at the bottom of the site)

2. Another parameter that is important to know before choosing components is the separate component of the monitor (or TV) that will be connected to your gaming computer.

Why is it important? The greater the complexity, the more powerful the video card is required for an enjoyable FPS (frames per second).

  • The separate size of the screen in pixels can be found in the technical documentation, on the manufacturer’s website for the monitor/TV model or in the device menu.

Well, we have learned 2 input data:

  1. Systemmni vymogi gri before “climb”;
  2. I allowed an extension to show us a picture.

Based on these two data, we choose the configuration of our new computer.

Why do you start choosing a computer?

1. The main character of the gaming computer is the video card.

The video card itself creates the images that appear on the screen, so it’s difficult to lay down - the picture will be smooth or the background will be removed almost entirely from the slide show.

The video card can handle our game on our screen. Under the word “cope” it is important to note that on average settings the video card can produce a stable FPS of at least 35 frames per second.

Since we are no longer interested in games, we need to follow these lines, so for most current games at high settings, separate FullHD (1920x1080) video cards are sufficient and NVIDIA GTX 1050 Ti– The video card has already given out how fast it works, and the thermal imaging and energy efficiency are at a very low level!

The cooler and more expensive the video card (GTX 1060, 1070 and so on), the smoother the picture will be, the more customized graphics you can install in your favorite game– And in this way you can see more beautiful images, with shadows, highlights, reflections and more precise details.

What to choose from video cards: NVIDIA GeForce or AMD Radeon? NVIDIA video cards are faster in games, less capable of food and cooling, and are also cheaper to purchase! The type of productivity of GeForce and Radeon can be found in the first table.

2. Select the central processor.

It’s funny how you hear about the fact that every processor “breaks” (or inadvertently) every video card. The phrase “the processor opens the video card” means that the tightness of the processor indicates the tightness of the video card - so the processor needs to be tighter in order to produce no less FPS than the video card.

Why is this needed? The gaming process consists of 2 main components:

  • physics Quantity, interaction between objects, heroes, their behaviorThis is all due to the central processor. Skin games affect the processor in different ways. The processing stage of the processor should not be kept separate and may not be left behind by adjusting the speed.
  • graphics. The fluidity of applying textures to objects and their bitterness , special effects, all the same – the video card’s design. The greater the separation, the greater the demand for a video card.

The video card and processor in games are shared between pairs. The skin has its own zone of sensitivity.

To ensure that the game does not suffer from throttling, FPS drawdown and other unpleasant lags, it is necessary for the processor to allow the video card to work at 100%. So FPS in games may be limited by the video card, not the processor. Otherwise you will see that the video card– The most expensive component of a gaming computerdoes not use up all the money paid for it.

Which processor should you choose for your previously installed video card?

Please re-live with the permission of the monitor (TV)! The lower the screen size, the higher the FPS the video card can produce– the processor can provide more FPS! And finally: what the greatest has allowed– this way you can use less pressure on the processor for the selected video card

In the table you can see the minimum acceptable processors for each specific video card depending on the permission you use.

The table is stored on the platform of numerical tests for various games

For example, you want to play GTA 5 at maximum settings on a 23" monitor with a separate 1920x1080 frame and decided to take an NVIDIA GTX 1060 video card- So, for these purposes, you should take an Intel Core i5 or AMD Ryzen 5 processor, or better yetIntel Core i7 or AMD Ryzen 7. If you play on a separate monitor 2560x1440 or higher, then the processorIntel Core i5 or AMD Ryzen 5 will be completely sufficient

3. Motherboard for a new gaming computer.

There are a lot of motherboards, but for games, regardless of the 10-fold difference in price, there is no real difference. There is one universal benefit here: if you don’t plan to overclock but want to save money, choose a motherboard with a “medium” chipset: for Intel the B250 (B350 for the new 8th generation Coffee Lake processors), for AMD- B350. It is important that the capacitors on the motherboard are solid-state (Solid Capacitor): this will significantly increase the reliability of the board. There are problems with the choice– contact us for a consultation!

4. RAM.

Obsyag - n less than 8GB. Better than 16GB, or you can get your own “stitching”- Buy another 8GB within an hour after purchasing the computer. Most current games still require 8 GB. It is very easy to increase your RAM on your own. Sensu 32GB of RAM for a gaming computer today is not enough.

5. SSD or hard drive – which is better for a gaming computer?

SSD is very fast, but expensive. SSD storage devices speed up the operation of the operating system and remove any problems when storing data on a computer. Prote in SSD games will speed up the fascination of the game itself and the surrounding rivals, stagnation and adjustment. Therefore, the ideal option is to install an SSD with a capacity of 120-240GB for the OS and the favorite games that you play most often, and a large hard drive with a capacity of 1TB to save a lot of special data (photo in Ideas, games, programs etc.)

If you have a budget, you can get by with one basic hard drive, so that the spindle speed is no less than 7200 rpm, otherwise there may be galvanization in games: such situations occur in our practice!

6. Should you buy an expensive case for your gaming computer? How can you get by cheaper?

The case, as you understand, does not improve FPS. However, the cheapest Core i7 case will lose itself and not turn into a Celeron. The main advantages of expensive cases versus cheap ones, in addition to design, remain the same:

  • Throwback to metal. What's more, it's a rigid design, which eliminates the possibility of deformation of the walls of the case and boards over time. In addition, the same metal as the computer case has better noise and vibration insulation.
  • Thoughtful refrigeration. In expensive cases, it is often possible to have additional fans and additional places for them
  • Lower roztashuvannya of the living block. This improves heat transfer in the housing and its durability.
  • Additional roses and brown "chips". For example, there are twice as many USB ports or a screen with temperature display, reobass (allows you to change the wrapping fluidity of case fans)

The conclusion is this: on the case you can save on different inexpensive systems, in other cases it looks like a “saving on waste”: the difference in price between a simple case and a “stuck through” one does not mean wasting all the advantages of the rest.

7. Healthy food

- This is required by everyone, not just people! The life block is a very important warehouse for any gaming computer. The severity of the selection is based on the recommendation of the video card manufacturer (you may need to check the information on the video card page on the manufacturer’s website). Today's video cards show low energy consumption. For example, for systems based on the GTX 1060, a 500W output power supply from a good power supply is sufficient: for example, Zalman, Aerocool, Chieftec, FSP.

8. Cooling system. How to vibrate a processor cooler?

The processor heats up during the hour of operation and needs to be cooled down - this is a fact. How to vibrate an effective cooler for a processor? For this we need to know two speeches:

  • Processor socket – that’s it. called the socket (“socket”) in which the processor is installed. For example, Socket 1151 for current Intel and AM4 processors for AMD Ryzen processors. Choose a cooler that is suitable for the socket of your processor or a universal one (indicated as “Socket-All”).
  • Thermal density of the processor (TDP, “thermal package”) is the power in Watts as seen by the processor. It is important to choose a cooler that produces as much heat as the processor sees. If you plan to overclock the processor, then it is better to keep the cooler at least 30% in reserve. (In case of a 100W processor TDP, the cooler is to blame for the 130W TDP mother)

Inexpensive processor coolers have an aluminum radiator. Road models have a copper core and are more efficient at dissipating heat from the processor. Coolers with copper heat pipes are even better: as a rule, the stink comes from a tower-type design - the air flow of the stink comes directly from the back wall of the computer, and not from the motherboard.

Remember: the main thing when choosing a cooler is to pay attention to the insanity of the socket, the TDP and the noise generated by the cooler. Obviously, if the level of noise is lower than 21 dB, you simply won’t notice anything at all.
